After a 6 week process of researching for a new bike, I settled on this bike. I was initially looking for a steel bike, but settled for aluminum. This bike checked off all of my requirements.

All I wanted were: wide range gearing, thru axles, hydraulic disc brakes, wide tires, tubeless ready rims, threaded bb, and drop bars.

What stood out to me was the very progressive geometry: 67.5 HTA, 425 mm chain stays, long reach, and tall stack. Also the amount of clearance and mounts available and the stock dropper post just makes it better.

From the geo charts alone, this bike looks like a rigid XC mountain bike with drop bars. That’s all I want.

I sold my carbon fiber Specialized Roubaix and got this bike. I’ve ridden my mountain bikes more than my road bike last year. Switching to a single track capable rig should get me back on the road. I can’t wait to get the WTB 700×50 Venture tires I ordered and get this set up tubeless.
