East Memphis bank robbery caught on camera, MPD still looking for the suspect

According to police, a man entered the business, announced he was armed and demanded money. He left the bank with an unknown amount of money.

Police released new video of a robbery at an East Memphis bank last Wednesday. This is video from the Wells Fargo on Poplar Avenue. Police say around noon, a man walked into the bank showed the teller a gun and demanded money.

He got the cash and then he left. Now there’s no word on how much he took. But if you have information on this incident, again, call crime stoppers.
