Here we take a short ride up a path leading from Watford town to Rickmansworth aquadrome. This path was once a railway line but is now used as a lovely path connecting two towns in Hertfordshire used by dog walkers, joggers, and people looking for a nice stroll. Its January so very fresh out, but dry and bright, enjoy.

Can take a lovely walk I have my trusted bike needs a bit of a wash gloves hat scarf bit of food cuz it certainly is a cold one today cold but bright so let’s crack On look at that this is kind of heading towards RI Reserve now up that way there’s the canal behind little shop but as I say this is where the kids come to play it’s not deep there’s a slightly deepish bit over there maybe a foot two
Foot and then the rest is fairly shallow in the summer and there’s not too much rain well that is a British swamp well I don’t know if they’re British but as you can see the waterers coming off the canal creating the current there this water’s not got too much
Current yeah it’s a it’s a good little spot for the kids that’s secluded bench by a solemnly frozen pond so there’s a little calf there I was hoping that’d be open but I’m not sure why it’s not maybe it’s just a bit too cold for them they’ll get
A lot of foot traffic this time of year but this is where you can get your boat rides duck Food Maps all sorts in this little building oh yeah and the boat rides are here not too much they take you up for about 20 minutes and then take you back down
Hi I I spoted that bird earlier is it looks like a Black Heron or something a COR a coron yeah I spotted one down there and I thought what is that it’s a few around it’s almost like a Black Heron isn’t it yeah shapewise yeah habit wise completely different oh really yeah so
Did they not fishing they must fish I guess they do but they go under oh really so dive maybe submarines yeah yeah but there’s another one perched in there yeah I can see them yeah another two further down I didn’t used to see them yeah they like a new no
Always been about yeah they’ve always been around but they used to be Coastal till we started plundering their feeding grounds right and then they realized they could get food off fishing lakes yeah so yeah so maybe that’s why I didn’t notice them so much they all Coastal like you say when we re
Certainly so guys I just bought a coffee from the uh restaurant absolutely amazing you can also get some bird feed which I purchased help out the birds in the winter time so bird feed is a pound and I did walk past a customer who was eating a full English breakfast I kid
You not the poached eggs were incredible so yeah high high rating for for Ricker atad drone uh CF we’re just going to sit here this is where they sail their mini boats from uh they’re not here I believe because it’s too icy which is a shame I we see if they turn
Up so we’re pretty much done with ebre Way South foxy to rickmansworth it was quite a nice Journey only took about an hour and a half all in all bit of video in so until the next time Peace
