I am retired from two careers of primary school teaching when I was deputy head of a Middle School and Primary School, and as a self employed Chalkboard Artist from 2002 until I reached the grand old age of 65 in 2016. Since I retired it’s like a second childhood but with more expensive toys.

I play guitar and write songs and have written about 14 songs for the local BBC radio station. I run a weekly (weakly) evening Acoustic session at a local pub and have been doing so for 14 years now. I also started an afternoon acoustic session in a quite large cafe in Nuneaton. Both premises were former songwriting clients of mine.

Much of the music I use on this channel is taken from epidemicsound.com free to use on Youtube for a reasonable monthly fee, and sometimes I suffer you with my own music.

Mono pod is a Manfrotto Compact MMC3-02 and is very useful for getting high angles that look like low flight drone shots and so easy to carry on my bike along with the mini tripod.

We’re going L Picking yes litter picking um there’s not such a huge amount because it’s holiday time and the considerable number of uh people d i students walking up and down here is uh last next week it might be a bit different but I know there’s a bit of litter so couple of things to do

Today uh one thing I’m going to do is obviously pick up the litter and two I am going to try and give you some information about how you can get hold of some of this stuff I mean this could cost me 30 quid if I bought it off uh the local retailer Amazon

Hey and but you can get this from the council I’ll just double check with that and who you might uh ring and who you might ask hang on first bit of L let’s St pick it up um and the other thing I’m going to do is have a cheat with the people over

The road there at the chase uh because if you might be able to see they have they’ve trimmed their Edge back cuz it was getting overgrown but it’s revealed all the litter particularly over there that’s in the Hedge so I’m wondering if they can come and pick that up because it all

Helps the less litter there is the fewer items there are then it discourages people from dropping anymore more I doing quite well up to there but I I have walked up and down um and driven past and there are some items of L it down here so let’s press On I could swear the was a lot more litter so I don’t know whether I’m disappointed well here’s the thing um there’s a box packet here with look some labels un opened there’s about six of these in a box and uh they’ve just been dumped they’re labels sort of sticky labels

See that uh if there’s no litter yeah well you know minimal then one more piece is 100% more yeah yeah whereas if there’s a lot of it then now what the hell one more bit ain’t going to matter so it’s part that’s part of the reason
