Sorry if that’s a dumb question, but Is it normal for the cassette in the back that every third tooth is smaller? Or is it just worn down and time to replace the chain and cassette?
Im not an expert but those teeth are gone. I think you might need to change those before you damage the chain even further.

It’s normal. They’re machined like that to improve shifting. Having said that, the sprockets, being so small, do wear out quite quickly. If you have to replace the chain then you also need to replace the sprockets. Happily they’re cheap!

OK I found the right sprocket set for the old weels, and it looks like they are manufactured that way. Every third tooth is smaller and weirdly lobsided.
Im sure they are worn down as well, but finding that set online is next to impossible, so I’m just gonna ride it until something breaks and then buy a new rear wheel.

the teeth are chipped. that cant be right / normal.
the cogs are 3-tab sturmey archer / sram cogs. just buy the same teeth count and you are good to go.
