I’ve taken it to a couple bike shops and they don’t know what rack I need. There are two mounting points on each seat stay, one on the outer side and one on the inner side. Bike is a BH Gravel x Carbon. Distance between the mounting points is 28cm. Thanks in advance!

Did they say “they don’t know” or “don’t install a rack on this bike”? It’s a carbon road bike, not a steel/aluminum commuter. This is not designed to carry extra weight. There are no lower mounting points (typically next to the rear axle), so your only option for a [traditional rack](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81QjmMl+YxL._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_.jpg ) would be the kind that clamps to the middle of the seatstay, and that would probably break as soon as you hit a bump. The other option is a [seatpost mount] (https://360bikesnboards.com/cdn/shop/products/730385-01_4_1024x1024@2x.jpg?v=1654884806) rack. But only if you have an aluminum seatpost
How much gear are you trying to carry? There are also frame bags and handlebar bags and oversized saddle bags
[This](https://www.topeak.com/global/en/product/1539-UNI-SUPER-TOURIST-FAT) is the style of rack you need but it’s made for fat tire bikes. It has an adjustable mount for the rear legs that work with mid-stay eyelets. However, it seems like a readily-available version for narrower frames is not common. I would contact BH and ask them what they recommend. They didn’t go through the trouble of eyelets on the stays for posterity. They must have had something in mind.
I’d head over to r/bikepacking and ask there. If all else fails, the tailfin rack should work.
Edit: look at old man mountain racks. I bet they have something that would work.
