I just received my set of Specialized Roval Control wheelset from bike24 and I am truly disappointed. They look refurbished, with no original box and they seem to have been setup tubeless before. Also strange quality control issues on the rims. I have become sceptic of Roval build quality and Bike24 honesty.
What do you guys think about a pair of custom Newmen wheels from r2-bike? They come with DT Swiss hubs. I know Newmen does not receive lots of love, but are their carbon rims good though?

They have lots of other options as well. Woult it be a good alternative to the Roval Control? Will use them for light trail on the Propain Hugene.
