Often times when I’m in the process of starting to cycle and trying to straighten myself the handlebars will skew and get unaligned with the wheels. I’m still getting the hang of riding and this makes very annoying to get a good kickoff. Is it supposed to be like this or do I need to get my bike looked at?
Sorry if this isn’t the right sub for this.
Are handlebars supposed to skew like this? I’m still learning to ride and this has been a real annoyance for me.

only if you want to die
THAT IS NOT RIGHT, you either haven’t tightened all the bolts properly or there is something seriously wrong with that bike
There’s an Allen key shaped bolt at the top of your handlebars, straighten them up and then tighten that bolt to stop them moving like this
Headset adjustment. Loosen side bolts, then tighten top bolt until there is no play when you hold the front brake and Rock the bike back and fourth. Then straighten the bars and tighten the side bolts. Best is to have a shop do it. If not please google headset adjustment on YouTube.
Your gooseneck is loose. Just tighten up your stem bolt (center of the handlebar holder going into the fork tube) with an Allen key.
NO !!! this is un-ridable !
not been properly assembled
Good you found the issue now rather than during a bend with an oncoming truck
Just bring it to a bike shop if you really don’t have any idea. We can help you but help yourself first.
