00:00 22/01 had major snowstorms with a lot of strong wind (61km/h gusts) during the day in entire FInland. This made, among other things, impossible to ride home on bike – had to push it and, with lower-traffic car roads, use them instead.
00:25 24/01, river Tourujoki (with tons of ducks) as videoed from the Lahjaharjuntie vehicle (NOT the pedestrian!) bridge I was forced to bike on because of the very bad biking conditions on the bike lane caused by yesterday’s comparatively warm weather. Then, the temperature was 1-2C the entire day resulting in the snow getting partly melted. However, as the temperature (today early morning) decreased under 0C again, all that got frozen, resulting in some truly nightmare-ish surface to ride (or, for that matter, walk) on.
