I currently own a Niner AIR 9 RDO, but it’s geared low and suspended, and I’d rather get a second bike to use for a little road, and a lot of gravel/easy single track.
I’ve been shopping around and found both of these at a very reasonable price: Kona Libre AL and the GT Grade comp. What does the hive mind think? I’ve been told the Kona can fit 45mm tires, the GT 50mm. Both have carbon fork, both have the requisite rack attachments, and I really don’t care about the color.
I prefer the GRX, but it’s 10 vs. Apex 11 with cable hydraulics. Thoughts? I’m an experienced cyclist, but need some alternative opinions other than my girlfriend’s “Oooo, green!” Thanks in advance.

BTW, they are both $50 apart at exactly $1000.00.
I’m admittedly a little bit of a Kona fanboy but I would probably be swayed by the 1X drivetrain on the Libre
