I found my Marathon this morning with its steel rim protruding from the tyre. I think it’s a result of me misplacing it back into the wheel when I changed the inner tube, because the tyres are only 3 years old with 9-10k km / 6k of mileage. I don’t have much experience with tyres, so do you think this is still usable providing the tyre rim remains within the wheel rim? Do Marathon tyres have a sort of “rip-stop” design?
Ideally, I would order a new one, and wait until I changed it, but I really need to cycle until the end of the week; I do about a 100 km / 60 miles a week.
