  1. I had one a few years ago and it snapped at about 5000km. Customer service was non existent. Was decent enough up until it broke.

  2. Alpina bars are used at the highest level of track competitions and the olympics.

    The cranks, seatposts etc are a good quality, robust, cheap option and, as you said, come standard from Dolan – they wouldn’t use them if they weren’t decent.

    I’ve used that exact crankset and it was great – only stopped as I snagged some Omniums

  3. They are in my experience very similar to Sram s300’s, but with 144bcd instead.

    All in all, good enough for anyone who isn’t a pro track cyclist. I would however recommend to only get this crankset if you can get it without any import dues and taxes.

    If you’re in the UK and getting this from the Dolan shop, they are more than worth it.
