Hey lads and ladies of the sub, haven’t ridden my bike in 4 months due to being away, rode it <4km yesterday and the rear brakes were stuck hard on my way home. Checked it today and one of the pads just fell off.

Is there a reliable way to stick the pad back on the metal piece so I can just slot it back in and ride in peace? Or do I just have to go to a shop and buy replacement pads. I still have my front brakes so not super urgent, but it’d be nice to have my rear brakes back lol.

Also if I do have to replace it, since my pads aren’t really super available locally I might have to order online, so in case I *do* have to wait a long while (2wks), any quickfix glue solution I should use? e.g. don’t use Elmer’s glue lmao

  1. You need to buy new pads and judging by the amount of rust on those you likely need a caliper overhaul as well…
