So the cancellation of our trip again 651 block H Oh hi guys my name is Constantin fenko K Avia your Aviation advisor and today we are in alia actually Alia is there and I am here here means the location on Google I’m so curious about places where people don’t go to so I’m crunching through this slippery Rocky so

I’m crunching there to that cave I don’t know where we’re going to be flying but it will be definitely cesna Bravo out of Alia stay tuned I’ll show you a little bit of Alia City and then the Flights Today we’re traveling from Alia to Budapest I take you on this adventurous flight it will be short flight just 1 hour 30 minutes stay tuned hi I wait for you there you wait for me here funny story it’s 210 but maybe we will move could we it’s

A black and yeah the which kind of yeah black yeah yeah nose is black that’s that’s the one you see it was changed the parking was changed for it which kind of air citation Bravo you see it’s in the corner to the Right We are in a very confined space between all these nice business Jets actually fuel almost here so I need to do some calculation for this I get inside and check what we have left from the previous what we have left from the previous flight this is citation Bravo which is equipped with Primus

1,000 avionics but the first thing to do is to open the baggage compartment in the back we switch off the battery because a lot of things connected to the hot bus in this airlane for example emergency lights standby gyro lights in the baggage compartment by the

Way and when I reach here yeah let’s first connect the battery so it is as simple as this connect scroll to the right and here we go the light is here that’s what I mean it’s connected to the hot bus it can always drain your battery so we check the

Status of hydraulics we check the status of fire extinguishing bottles as well as this here is the hydraulic Reservoir all good checking everything air cycle machine there is also something to look for the amount of oil in that Reservoir all good closing here and switching off the light

There seem to be no fuel yet therefore I will disconnect and open engine inlets and exhaust instantly checking bleed valve temperature probes not sure if you can see them or not they are here on the left and besides the engine I also take the P2 cars off and static

Ports they have to be clear of any obstruction which can be caused by mosquitoes or flies or something else and we put PTO covers in this compartment as well as this we are taking windshield alcohol gear and Brake pressure and on the right side oxygen refilling Port oxygen pressure relief

Port landing gear so when the battery is on we can see the fuel qualtity is 2,000 lb and we need 4,000 and also battery voltage I check instantly because if the battery is low then what we need to have the battery inspection so on the flight

Plan I think we need 3,800 lb which means that we have to calculate 3,800 lbus 2,000 = 28 we will have to refuel 1,800 pound and if we split this by 1 Point 76 we will get liters so 500 L in the each tank also you can do it in the

Following way you do 2,00 correction 1,800 lb you split by 2.2 this is how many kilog you need and then you multiply by 1.2 which is almost the same it is depending on the density of course on the fuel density I just took the average

0.8 500 L 500 lit well guys this is it we are canceling the flight for today for unknown reasons this is business Aviation sometimes you get to to rush to the airport sometimes you just come here and things are cancelled sometimes you sit in the plane and it happens that you

Go to pick up your passengers and they cancel this happened to us too stay tuned for the next departure how many liters one4 oh that’s not bad we F sorry for that so here we are 8:20 next morning this is Peter my line training Captain guess is he finished or he is denish Destination Budapest ah budap budap the fuel starts perfect 1,950 in the left 1,850 in the right couple of words about our flight planning the trip fuel 1,680 flight time 1 hour 40 minutes Reserve 5% alternate Liu India Bravo which is bradis laava and final Reserve 442 taxi fuel then extra fuel alternate

Airports operational Flight Plan Runway analysis we have in our iPad and also here we have the weather nms the weather in destination this showers the forast 3107 n temporary from 6 to 13 4,000 rain show Rain get it toing cumulus broken you might have some some nice tail winds guys not so

Often we can say we have a good Tailwind isolated embedded CB up to level 360 the f is finished you need to sign or it’s Okay ready for the p and we are going to San Francisco when ready contact 13145 to be released and then for contact ground frequency 121 9 touch 27 Maxim 3 knot in this airport the weather is transmitted on nav frequency on navigation frequency that means it goes

Together with more scodes of the V Alia is not a separate VHF frequency 411 we are stand 216 ready to C start 5 approved you clear to destination by17 startup approved BX 8 cic 6,000 ft Score 1 2 76 Q8 1 z11 we’ll call you ready for tax boom boom

Boom okay you want some speeds we can do simp 5 or less 5,000 ft and below so 104 10610 battery now goes on voltage checked CH voltage now is a bit efficient mhm so you may start right okay so startup is approved okay uh right side yeah clear starting right ready let’s fixed

It sh FL and one p 104 and 6,000 ft so BX 8 quack is the following Straight Ahead Echo Oscar 630 speed 220 Echo Oscar 633 at 2,000 it’s 3,000 plus okay we will shut down okay all good we go off and open window please this is so

The cancellation of our trip again or Delay [Applause] Ground this is you again uh we just want to send ready message to budapes call affirmative now loud and clear please repeat your request uh we just want to send a ready message for Budapest at 2 stand 216 confirm are you completely ready affirmative completely ready for start

Okay sir now C is at 108 we are sending a ready message for you monitor frequency for any Improvement mhm shall I tell him we will call in 5 minutes if possible we will call you every 5 to 10 minutes uh please not to drain the battery hold the

Ground any use for US ah emergency I need maybe I go to emergency just for that not to have a VI Onix on all be ground Z just check in if you have any update for our C okay CIT will call you in 10 minutes 5

5 and meanwhile we can do the rotary test so we are going to the fire warning we have the indication landing gear battery temperature warning battery temperature and here is the temperature itself angle of attack stick ah release it’s okay yeah uh the stick Shake stick Shaker and then thrust reversers Floy

Unlock windshield temperature need to upate the windshield n uh say again sorry switch on yeah too high or low mhm off again okay now now windshield overheat the warning angle of attack bur on the battery anti SK in operative and this kid is blinking here what is next

Spare a onx something with a on should be anator panel all lights are working red that’s it rotary test is completed number two departure attempt number Two so the short briefing left seat pilot fly anal function before V1 which is 104 stoping the runway Val sitation emergency recation if needed or vacate the runway Minal function after1 climb Runway heading acceleration altitude will be 1,000 ft into acceleration altitude acceleration altitude memory items emergency nor normal AB normal

Checklist come back for with3 and um no threats may be strong wind know no a batement Procedure Okay static on take Landing lights on is clear all clear setting power brakes released tole spit speed the life check 80 we want Rotate yeah up please up no not required that fly a bit 29 ruction please and you can just tell him that we are passing So let’s look at the performance of this airplane it is climbing with indicated speed one Niner 0 and one setting 88.5 temperature it temperature 550° and we are making 1,700 to 2,000 ft per minute it’s quite quiet in the airplane so you may not use

Anys I’m just using it so you can hear the ATC communication and what we talk with Peter it’s a very comfortable to sit in the back as well and just now when we are at cruising altitude I am going to set the cruise power for this we have this nice

Table maximum Cruise thrust setting and one RPM we are at 380 R temperature is 30° so we have to find here 380 is almost 40 – 30 88.9 and if we were at three level 300 we could do 90.5 so something in between so 88.6 should be the setting and we are

Adjusting here 88.2 should be okay as well as this we control the it to be below 6 100° West what does it say here 0166 correct correct that’s an early one and the cruising performance we have indicated air speed almost 200 knots true air speed in this case

374 knots and the ground speed is 400 we are picking some Tailwind the Tailwind is shown here 25 knots and the consumption is 440 lb per engine there is an economy Cruise as well but today we are in a little bit of rush so I will use this setting today while I’m

Monitoring the captain is filling the paperwork paperwork is very important in flying flying is the last thing paperwork Theory knowledge safety weather briefing is the most important run the analysis coffee time guys we have the off here also the small bar this one when the ice melts it’s being drained

Overboard so yeah we have a lavatory here as well light here the door can be completely closed so you have full privacy very comfortable seat you can move it sideways you just leave this buckle up it can be also turned so you have more head space if the seat is in

This position it’s pretty quiet out here I don’t have to even think about using the headphones or something the view is good too this way you can close the sun shade and open them where is a small cabinet here too for those drinks and snacks and for passengers who are seated here this

Ladder can be used as a small kind of kind of a table And now it’s my turn to do some paperwork just to scan the receipts and bills fuel in papers and uh send them to the office as well as well as this all this paper will go to the office in original we are 30 3 minutes inbound so maybe you can check

The weather if it is Reachable so the paperwork is done it’s time to prepare for arrival weather on board usually Victor Tango bra 5 level 330 before passing C 330 four four minutes yeah we can choose 1,000 ft per minute okay sorry vertical speed 1,000 and maybe I reduce a little from my previous

Experience not to be Russian to what the we call it the fence in in Russian speaking crew you hit the fence like with your head like you are stupid to do that they said we will actually drive into the fence drive not to go but drive

Into uh just regarding the runway yeah I will read of course the the The Briefing airport briefing or usually they give us two on left they they know we belong here so you will get three1 left and if you can do the intersection uh uh turn off at bra one because it’s

You have I mean 1500 M mhm so you just use max reverse M there’s no limitations but don’t don’t use the brakes more than necessary yeah no brakes no brakes breakless Landing just adding a little bit on vertical speed you still got 3 minutes 33 0 we are

360 now it’s 2 minutes yeah but it’s 2 minutes and 659 seconds are you sure yeah it will actually show zero for 60 for 59 seconds so you still got okay uh now the range I control with this and when Rader is on then with this

Yes so we are proceeding to AO which is initial approach for Runway one three correction for 31 left yep which we are expecting to land is frequency triple one5 both sides set ilsd Final Approach course 307 both sides set intercepting Glide slot at 2,500 ft distance 6.5 from LSD me but

You need to be ATO 4,000 yeah ATO 4,000 yeah back we have that in the FMS and uh so airport elevation 496 sets decision altitude 650 or uh for reference radio ultimater 200 in case of missed approach climb Runway heading 3,000 expect radar vectors minimum sector altitude in the approach pass

1,900 in case of to approach 3,200 puy on the left side to approach light sequently flashing rvr for us 550 M after landing expecting Bravo one full reverse full speed brakes up on landing and speeds are 109 any questions comments NOP then we are good this check completed 65

Glasses because I lose them I have like bunch of them I Want Oh 50 40 30 20 10 All

  1. Hi Konstantin, great video of your flight. How long was your flight delayed with the 2 cancelations? Seems like it would add quite a bit of time to your workday. Glad that you were finally able to fly and that you made it to your destination safely. Always helps to have some Tailwinds on your flight. Did it just look like it, or did you land faster than normal speed on your landing? Thanks for taking the time to explain everything that you are doing and having closeups of the cockpit.
