A 9 speed sram cassette and derailleur are on the blue bike and I think they are part of the 3x drivetrain. Can I just take the derailleur and cassette and put it onto the second bike while also changing it to a 1x, so it becomes a 1×9 from a 3×8?

Probably need to move the shifters and chain over as well if the 9 speed chain is long enough to fit the black bike. Is the old bike 7 speed? Probably need to move over the crank set as well. Are you going to buy a narrow wide front ring with the correct BCD to fit one of those cranks. Seems like a lot of work and potential headaches.
