Conditions in Minnesota were perfect for riding rivers today. Normally i wouldn’t touch rivers. I’ve seen a buddy go under (and come up just as quick), and have no interest in repeating. That said, today was great, and water was said to be ankle to knee deep. I love that riding along the river exposes the rider to things you normally wouldn’t see. Rock formation and geologic waves, sedimentation layers and sloughs. Neat stuff.
