I was given this old Miyata nine twelve I think from the mid 80’s. I’m 6’5 and on the verge of too tall for using it myself. Although I may. It needs work, New tires and a basic tune up at least. What do you guys think its worth if I were to sell it? Or are there any good points on why I should keep it? Thanks for your time !

Looks very original, tis a nice thing.
Back in the day you might seeā¦
47, 50, 52, 54, 56, 59, 63. That head tube is 65??
Sell it to someone tall. I’d title my add “TALL Miyata bike for sale”. You can get a decent price for it, as bikes this tall are hard to find.

Raise the saddle, stem, and ride.
Looks like a clean arabesque 600 gruppo. That’s pretty sweet.
Give it to me
Had one for a while, regret selling it. Full 600 group. triple butted tubes!
get a pair of Shimano 105 STI brakes and shifter so you could at least tidy the cables in the cockpit area
some stickers or decals
new tires
Pros:
-Old school tech, simple maintenance
Cons:
630mm 28″ tyres which are an old and odd size these days.
