Hey guys. I need your support. I am going to work by bike everyday and all my pants are getting destroyed at the rear rather fast. It appears that at little below my ass there is a spot with high tension, which combined with the friction from the saddle leads to worn out pants.
It’s not a specific issue from myself since it also happens to a lot of my friends too. One of them actually recommended the pants from [shapingnewtomorrow](https://shapingnewtomorrow.eu/collections/the-perfect-pants), which really do a good job. They are comfortable and stretchy and still last long. The only thing is, they are very thin and therfore quite cold when the temperatures go below -5°C.
I’ve already tried Lee jeans (luke), Pepe jeans, mustang jeans,.. and they all didn’t last as long as they should.
Of course, a heavy denim jeans would last, but I am looking for more comfy jeans which come with a fair amount of stretch and a skinny fit. Any recommendations?
Eidt: I forgot to mention, i am not looking for outdoor/hiking/cycling pants but for proper Jeans, which I can also wear at work.

look for pants with a gusset. du/er are fantastic. Eddie Bauer also has some heavy duty hiking pants with a diamond gusset
Fjällräven pants in general have served me very well for the past decade. But anything over time will wear out in the gusset I find. Luckily they will repair the pants for free at shy of their stores 🙌
Outlier and Ornot would be my first choice. Both have generous return policies too.
