Pretty much as the title says – what are your tire recommendations (for all sizes, but maybe around 700×40 or 42 ish preferably? Am open to hear of sizing recommendations for about 50/50 good and rough roads) that are affordable and have a reflective band?

The only brand i am familiar with, Levorin, doesn’t make ones with the band. I am replacing my 54-622 (29×2.10) MTB tires on my commuter, and am really fond the the band for side visibility. I want them to be thinner, but i think slightly thicker than the 38c I borrowed to test would be nice; something that can handle 50-65 PSI rather than 75-100, but is still lighter and better rolling than the originals. I’m amendable to this, though, the 38 were still a very noticeable overall improvement for my commute.

Anyways, my main problem is that, while i’ve been able to find such affordable tires in 700×38, I’ve not heard of the brand (Paco Tires City Max is the brand/model). Same price range as Levorin, though, so they may be good? Here: https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-3327484935-par-pneu-bike-speed-paco-city-max-700×38-faixa-refletiva-_JM?skipInApp=true

By the way, the tires i tried were Specialized Trigger Sports. Very nice tires, if a bit rough on the bumps, naturally. Lovely for my needs, but they ain’t mine to keep indefinitely.

My price range is some BR$150-200 (30-40 USD) for the pair, but i want to hear all your ideas. Thanks!
