So I recently got a 9-46t e*Thirteen cassette for a wider range on my Canyon grizl cf sl 7 1x, as well as the Garbaruk cage with pulleys. I’ve tuned the derailleur to shift through all gears no problem, but when I am on my 46t cog I am getting chain rub on the derailleur. Before I put the Garbaruk cage on I had the stock GRX rx812 derailleur on with no issue, other than trouble shifting to the 46t hence the Garbaruk upgrade. Looking at my chain line it looks pretty extreme. How should I go about fixing this issue? Offset crank ring? Here are some photos

If it’s only in the largest gear I’d be tempted to leave it – assuming you’ve installed everything correctly.

Chainline in the largest cog with a 1x setup is never good. Unless you change the chainline up front to accommodate this – but then you end up making the chainline for the smallest cog even worse.

Chainline is intended to be match to the middle-most cog and then you just kind of put up with the crappy chainline on the extreme gears, understanding that they will have a bit more noise and wear because of this.
