It’s been a year now since I got my Canyon Ultimate CF SL 8 Aero frame. Today, while trying to adjust my seatpost, I noticed that the “collar”, or at least the plastic cover, is starting to come off unusually. For now, it doesn’t seem critical, but I’m wondering if it could become a problem in the long run and especially if I should contact Canyon about this issue.

The rubber lip is just glued to the plastic insert (which is glued to the frame). It doesn’t affect your bike at all, it’s just a weak bond because thermoplastics don’t like glue that much (all injection molded plastics are thermoplastics).
Just push it back in.
