Recently noticed some oily dirt on top side of shock absorbers. The rest of the shock absorbers are fine. Performance is about the same as when the bike was new. Is this indicative of some problem? There is a lot of dirt and high air pollution in India, where I brought this Cannondale trail 7 some time back. This oily dirt cleans right off. But I was wondering if it require any maintenance? Thanks for your help and guidance.

From memory these particular coil Suntour forks take grease not oil. Not 100% certain on the model though.
Honestly if it feels good and it’s not rusting or sticking I would just leave it.
