Yes is it exciting what’s new this series bars well alongside the classic games we have some brand new jawdropping events yes that’s what we want to here and of course we’ve got a brand new cast of superhuman Gladiators all right oh I got to sign they’re so ripped

They make Dwayne The Rock Johnson look like a pebble in tonight’s heat we’ll meet four members of the public who have the task of trying to beat our Gladiators across a number of brutal events absolutely in first up it’s our male contenders and with only one guaranteed place in the

Quarterfinals it’s going to be an epic contest let’s find out a little bit more about them my name is Finley I’m 22 I’m From Doncaster and I’m a trackman on the railway so you’re pretty much scraping up every stone changing the rails you

Need to be fit in order to put in a good shift go go come on that’s I train with my uncle around at his home gym stop hold done I love spending time with my family and my nephew LC is the reason I applied for

This cuz I looked up to my uncle I want him to have that same feeling and I think this is the perfect show it don’t matter how big you are don’t matter how strong you are as long as you just get everything you’ve got there’s no limit

To how far you can go really good luck ony my name is Miles I’m 32 I’m from leads it’s I’m an IT engineer me in the comm’s room patching in cables just basically troubleshooting issues I’m also a DJ producer playing the tracks I want to play make everyone Vibe and dance yeah

Long you could stand on a Podium whilst being battered about the bunts by a bloke called Rhino wiing The Fluffy lollipop better at times in many ways it’s time for duel duel this is the first of six events in duel you must try and knock your opponent off their podium in just 30

Seconds using that gigantic pugil stick 10 points for the contender if they can knock the Gladiator off and five if they can just stay up on that Podium up first to the podium it’s Finley he’s going to be taking on night row I got the power nitro’s got the power and the

Moves an elite Sprinter watch him go all out right from the start meanwhile 22e old Finley may be smaller but he is strong and this game’s all about strength and stability it’s over to the referee team led by former Premier League ref Mark clattenburg who’s alongside assistant Sonia Moma and Lee Phillips Contender

Ready l ready oh God 3 2 1 it’s Finley who lands the first blow but Nitro comes straight back at him and now there’s a barage coming in from the Gladiator and Finley struggling one hand off the pugil stick there’s a rain of flows coming in he’s got 12 more seconds to stay

Upright but he’s gone Finley has fallen well he’s quickly back to his feet is Finley meanwhile the dancing feet of nitro are celebrating because he did what he had to do Finley was taking some Almighty blows there I like to say big of the are out

Of the fall but it’s not the case bigger they are how of they it Nitro how is he as a contender I knew that he was going to give me a good run for my money I had a tactic in mind yeah I wanted him to hit first see how hard

He could hit and he hit me on my head like a big W up and I needed to get a bit angry because I’m not an angry guy but then after the anger came out the Nitro explosive energy came out and I think you felt some good hard hits but

And my family my kids are up there my mom is up there as well my mom is my biggest supporter love you oh hello mom brilliant and what’s your game plan for tonight’s event well B mindset Focus you got to be in it to win it right absolutely you’re feeling confident

Feeling confident feeling pumped ready to go cool well we wish you all the best of luck please give it up for Tasha and carrye everybody so we’ve got our female contenders which means it’s their turn to take on Duel duel up first for the female contenders it’s Tasha we’ll be taking on Diamond here’s the sparkling Diamond 6′ tall a football returned bodybuilder who’s got all the attributes to be a dual winner tacha the school nurse is somewhat shorter at 5’6 but if you can Master her balance and get some good hits in Anything Could Happen Contender ready ready oh God 3 2 1 and off they go both Swinging with real intent Diamond Landing some good hits now although she nearly sent her self flying from the podium good recovery from Tasha there to stay balanced now remember she can get five points for just staying on the podium

That’s if she can hold on it’s a bit of a struggle for her but this is why the game has its name this is a proper jeel and it looks as though Tasha might do enough to get five points and she has done well that was a tremendous duel from the

Start both Landing some real blows hash is showing great determination to stay on that Podium you surviv the jeel how the hell did I do that my tell me what was going through your mind up there just to stay up I just need you to stay firm and stay up and I did

Speed makes her a formidable opponent in all events meanwhile Kerry slightly smaller at 5’3 but could those Speedy reactions from mountain biking come in handy here there ready Gladiator ready oh God 3 2 1 carry goes all out from the start remember if she cannot fire off that’s 10 points but if she can just stay up it’s still worth five you can really hear the force of those pugil sticks Landing it’s you attack I attack and both off balance at times in fact

Fire has one hand off the stick now a problem for her there but a problem for Kerry now oh she came so close she very nearly held [Applause] on I think it’s fair to say there’s only one person who got burnt in the end fire is glowing you only had 5 seconds left to hold on that’s what it was yeah you were up there a long way oh brilliant brilliant brilliant yeah it felt like I

Was up there for about an hour I swear great recovery fire I’ve got to say she said to me before she went you’re going down she did did you I did I looked a right in the eye said it I was like not before you give it up carry and fire

Everyone after the first event Kerry is yet to score but Tasha’s leading the way with five those points are crucial as they’ll convert into a Time advantage in the final event tonight next up is a brand new game that’s all about trying to cross a giant suspension bridge and please don’t try

This at home yes for all of you watching with a giant suspension bridge in your front room please don’t try this at home this is [Applause] Collision in this event the contender has 60 seconds to make their way across the unstable Bridge with the aim of

Getting a ball into the net to score points whilst four Gladiators are swinging in like human wrecking balls attempting to knock them off first to face Collision for the male contenders is Miles and he’ll be going up against these guys forget Iron Man it’s steel steals as tough as his name

Suggests the Mr a nice guy of the Gladiators until it comes to taking on contenders there’s no antidote it’s Viper Viper is a man of few words but the best way to describe him judging from that frown is angry the man the myth it’s Legend Training six a week Legend

Describes himself as a cross between Gandy and David Hasselhoff clearly the modest type they’ll be joined by giant who only needed two seconds to beat miles in Jeweler ready Gladiators ready 3 2 1 so of goes miles this is all about timing trying to evade those swinging Gladiators Viper doesn’t look

Massively comfortable on the swing and Miles steps up to the platform and gets two points now back on his way confidence soaring no longer he’s been double teamed and dumped to the Ground disappointing for miles but he got one ball in so that’s two points for him and it looks like steel used his backside to bash miles in the face and knock him off balance what a bum move miles that looks tricky out there man yeah it’s not easy mate not easy who hit

You the hardest I saw them all just coming at me so I have no idea who it was give it up for legend everybody now Legend was he a good competitor no well you said say that Legend but he did manage to score he got two points next up it’s Finley Contender ready

Gladiators ready 3 2 1 Finley looking like he wants to get off to a flyer I love Finley’s attitude he’s full of confidence he’s made for this game it seems two points in the net already and he’s going for another pushing Gladiators out of his way oh

What a lovely move that was the Bob and we and he’s going to get another two four points for Finley now and he evades another swing but Viper’s on the bridge now he can’t do that the referees will surely have something to say about it as well as Finley and his [Applause]

Family that was absolutely brilliant I was cheering for you I saw you at the start you was going for you psyching them out how’d you feel absolutely amazing Viper Keep It Coming keep it coming I just heard as well we have a discrepancy I’m going to have to call in

The ref Mark CL B something happened up there what was it VI you’ve now been dis qualified from this event oh oh oh [Applause] disqualification why is he disqualified paper left his trapez to go onto the bridge this is not allowed so now Finley will repeat the last 30 seconds of the

Event thank you very much indeed Mr clber thank you much good luck to you give it up for Finley everybody so thanks to Viper Antics Finley has the chance to complete the game and add to his score and he’ll be up against just three Gladiators can he

Make the most of it three 2 1 it’s a fired up Finley who’s got the attitude and the brashness to go with his confidence and he’s also got another two points and he’s flying back across the bridge to make it for the event can he get into double figures

Little bit of a problem this time though they’ve got a hold of him and he’s left hanging on to Legend’s legs and it’s game [Applause] Over it was a whole lot of fun whilst it lasted for Finley and he grabbed himself eight points before Legend lifted him off that was unbelievable who’s leg me hanging on to Legend legend leg end he was hanging onto his leg [Laughter] end that was funny to me he Wasing on

Leg where were you I was on the end of le ‘s le oh my God that was brilliant I’ve got a say you are so pumped up I think you got ended up with another two there did you yeah believe so yeah you ended up with eight points eight points still

What a competitive he was very good he made mean Legend come up with a proper Plan before he came back up and I think we executed it pretty well what was that plan Legend steel sandwich yeah of course the best kind of sandwich yeah yeah but unless of course you’re

Vegan all right give it up for Finley everyone so after two events miles is on two points but Finley’s in the lead with eight now the turn of the female contenders with Kerry the first to face collision and she’ll be going up against these Gladiators she will definitely shock you it’s

Electro electros charged up and ready to send shock waves through the contenders she couldn’t be meaner it’s [Applause] Athena Athena is the goddess of war and with her specialist skill in powerlifting she’ll be a force to be reckoned with she’s the baby face assassin it’s dynamite she’s the youngest Gladiator at 20 she

Might be just 5’5 but has explosive strength she’s not called Dynamite for nothing and they’ll be joined by fire who we’ve already seen knocking carry off that podium in Jewel can she do it againa ready ready 3 two 1 so kry grabs the ball and goes and manages to get past fire and

Athena and she’s evaded electron Dynamite too it’s going to be two points into the net for kry remember every ball into the net gives her two points on the scoreboard she’s going back to try and get another two but has lost the ball Fire’s knocked it out of her hands

That’s perfectly legal she’ll just have to grab another one and go the other way which she’s managing to do through Electro pass dynamite and there’s another two points and she’s sprinting back across the bridge now but that marks the end of Kerry’s Collision but that really was a terrific

Effort and she’s happy with the four points that she’s gained it might have been six but just as in jeel fire proved too much for her next up on collision it’s Tasha Contender ready ready 3 2 1 taser on the Move although it is a tentative start she took one

Blow there and lost the ball but crucially managed to stay on the bridge to have another [Applause] run this run is going to be a successful one two points into the net for Tasha oh why did she stop it looked as though she had a clear run through and she’s lost

The ball again this is great work by the Gladiators and another ball is lost down goes Tasha well she got one in for two points but it was one fiery foot that proved too hot to handle so two events in kry has four points Tash is in the lead with seven okay thank you very much indeed it’s time for one of our new games the

Ring the trick is to make it to the center of the ring without getting tackled by the Gladiators and I’ll tell you what that is not easy because as we’ve seen a lot of our Gladiators have impressive tackles leave it it’s the [Applause] ring playing at the same time both

Contenders must reach and press the center Central Button as many times as they can standing in their way are a pair of Gladiators whose mission it is to stop them it’s almost time for our contenders to enter the ring but before that there’s one thing that we need to do power Up the male contenders are playing first on one side it’s miles and on the other it’s Finley and they are going to be taking on [Applause] Apollo Apollo is a huge 6’6 and with a background in American football and rugby the ring is one of his specialist events [Applause]

And another massive unit and just look at that reach it’s going to be hard for those contenders to ghost away from Phantom contenders ready Gladiators ready 3 2 1 so we’ve got Apollo marking miles in red and Phantoms on Finley in blueo takes miles down with the first hard hit of the contest there’s two points for Finley he’s got the first scores on the board miles is struggling to get away from

Apollo he nearly got to the button and he has done this time so it’s two all Mark battenberg’s voice booms out around the arena saying release and now he Blows the Whistle your both released okay well that’s clear enough Phantom reprimanded for not releasing Finley within the 2 seconds

Limit now for the restart 3 2 one there we go again Finley taking the long run at Phantom who gets to grips with him quickly miles being kept away from the button by Apollo and Finley’s managed to drift in and get himself another two points quickly followed by Miles some

Seriously strong tackles in this game but miles and finy doing really well keep on racking up the point six all a terrific contest and there goes the buzzer well hats off to both contenders that was a grueling battle got penalized a couple of times I think it was phantom for holding what

Was going on just wouldn’t release you well they all want to pie of me don’t they yeah okay same for you bit of holding going on there yeah but I didn’t do too bad no exactly right that was a spectacular game to watch Apollo how was that for you look

This game really does separate the men from the boys and those who came with everything they fought right until the end that’s off to them and Phantom Finley is a quick last no he’s definitely nippy he’s got some fans over there I think he had a dirty tactic to

Try and unclo me he took your helmet off yeah yeah he did they did really well he’s coming back in now oh well you’d think they’d had enough of tackling but clearly not so after three events miles is on eight but Finley still storming ahead with

14 right now let’s see how the female contenders get on taking on the ring it’s kry and Chaser and they are going to be up against saber [Applause] Go time to welcome saber a ferocious feline who isn’t afraid to pounce on those contenders and dynamite contenders ready Gladiators ready three two one so we’ve got Dynamite marking kry in red and Sabers on Tasha in blue and Kerry’s made it straight to that button where every touch is worth

Two points and she’s in for four what a brilliant start this has been by kry and now it’s taj’s turn first points on the board quick quickly matched by kry who’s giving Dynamite a great run for a money and the points are flying in for both contenders this is a really excellent

Contest Tasha the school nurse might be the one who needs medical attention herself after that kry is putting Dynamite’s fuse out here look at the lead she has now with these seconds ticking away was that in time it seems so and Tasha follows up 126 the final

Score and that summed up what the ring is all about some really hard hits in there like a true saber cat she gave Tasha a proper Ming Tasha saber would not leave you alone she wouldn’t Carri you managed to slip Dynamite quite a few times there

Yeah yeah I knew that I would do pretty well on this one so I just give it beans F and after three events Kerry’s full of beans 16 points T Tasha’s 13 the next challenge facing our contenders requires stamina strength and a sheer force of Personality yeah a bit

Like living with you for 20 years nice this is the [Applause] gauntlet for this event our contenders must get to the end of The Gauntlet in just 30 seconds there are four zones each being protected by a gladiator two points available for every Zone cleared with a total of 10 for the

Distance first to run the for the M contenders it’s miles and he’s going up against Viper Phantom steel and Apollo so Viper’s back let’s hope he doesn’t get disqualified this time ready 3at ready three two one miles is often straight past pper with ease and he’s

Going to get through Phantom as well and into zone three steel just stalls his progress can he get past the oh yes a very welld deserved 10 points Viper not looking too happy and this is why miles just flicked him away miles you were like a wrecking ball

Through him there what was your strategy bro I just have to say I’m back I’m back I’m ready I just saw all red and I was ready to go raging bll yes and I’ll tell you he’ be disappointed by that I think Viper will be quite disappointing even

Get to touch you you dodged him like a bullet there I’ll tell you what miles I’m petrified a Viper give it up for miles everybody thank you thank you next up to run the gauntlet it’s Finley Contender ready Gladiators ready 3 2 1 away goes Finley and he’s

Managed to get P Viper pretty comfortably but he’s now been pinned by Phantom trying to push him out of the gauntlet which is perfectly okay within the rules oh now a problem for Finley he’s pulled up and Mark clber has called proceedings to a halt a worrying hush around the arena as

All three referees go in to chat with Finley and see if he’s okay you all right your knee did you feel it twist all right just take a moment stay here just stay here just stay here that’s all right a lot of worried faces in the crowd including his mom

There but now they’re chanting his name great support for Finley here well he’s walking but he doesn’t look happy and not that it mean much but despite the injury he did clear two zones so still four points for Finley okay injury knee ankle what was it

Twisted the knee down there so I don’t know I felt I felt somewhat good but this is not the end you this w’t bit last time you see me no absolutely I’m going to go in the back I’m going to recover yeah and we’ll see what else I

Can give yeah all right this last from me not a not a chance not a pray okay let’s get you to the Medics fin there you go so Finley is being escorted backstage where he’ll be assessed by the medical team let’s hope it’s not a serious injury what was the situation there in

The moment we knew he was a tough competitor so we had we were ready for him um and it’s not we’re not here to hurt anyone uh but we’re not here to make it easy um but we really hope he gets well fine words Phantom if it’s a

Twisted knee that could be the end of the road for Finley so let’s keep our fingers crossed for him after four events miles and Finley are locked together but with Finley’s injured knee will he return up first to run the gauntlet for the female contenders it’s

Krye and she’s going to have to get past Electro aen Fury and diamonds so a new Gladiator in the G pet it’s Fury the first ever death Gladiator unknown for her tough tackling but is kry ready to take her on Contender ready radiators ready 3 2 1 carry is immediately smothered by

Electro penber urges the Gladiator to let go and kry has gone he’s going really nicely in towards zone four where she’s taking on diamond can she spin yes she’s through and through to a full 10 points Carri congratulations you must feel great after that H yeah yeah me go

That was tough we were staring into each other’s eyes at the beginning look like she needed a hug so I gave her one I saw that not so much a hug as a full electro shock well the main headline is you completed the gauntlet done Dusty ticked

That is a massive 10 points for you up next to run the gauntlet it’s Tasha Contender ready Gladiators ready 3 2 1 Tasha runs straight into Electro she hasn’t managed to stop her getting into zone two where Athena now gets to grips with Tasha into three and pass Fury just

Diamond to beat now for a full 10 points and Tasha burst through what a magnificent performance that was and it might not be over yet a little bit of Afters here finally it does end all smiles well Athena was determined not to let her through but neither She nor the

Other three were going to stop Tasha well played that was brilliant thank you very much Brad thank you it was hard but I had an amazing time thank you before I came down I heard a young lad right at the top there shout out smash him Tasha smash him Tasha

Y that is brilliant stuff massive 10 points put it there Sasha well up that let give it up for the Gladiators the brilliant AR absolutely smashing for events in kry has 26 points but Tash is on her tail with 23 I’d like to call this next event a customer service call center challenge

Why because our players will be hanging on a lion and holding on until they cannot take it anymore makes sense this is hang tough yes yes I love it hang tough time for one of the most iconic Gladiator events the contender has to swing their way to the opposite Podium

For 10 points or just stay in the red zone for five however there’ll be one determined Gladiator trying to stop them first out for the Mal contenders it’s miles and he’ll be taking on Nitro power nitro’s giving it large again will he’s swinging matches [Applause] dancing Gladiator ready 3

2 and Nitro is away with a big swing and that’s what you need as each ring is 2 m apart well this is keeping a close eye on where Nitro is and where the next ring is and Nitro slipped he’s got a big smile on his face but

He’s allowing miles to get away here and he’s into the Red Zone Nitro has lost all momentum miles is nearly there one more swing will do it and there he is just drop now miles you’re there but for some reason he’s going back the other way and nito’s closing in well this is

Remor even miles Finly look confused and Nitro now has caught up with it miles has to hang on which he does to claim five points but it should have been 10 oh dear what are you doing what were you playing at you’re on your way back to your dressing room well

This was the moment when bizar miles decided to swing away from those 10 points and Nitro couldn’t have been happier to see him again you were like a foot away from getting onto nitro’s platform what happened did you lose your way just sat there run out what went on I just play

It with him that was unbelievable you L ended up in the third row of the audience over there what happened there I’m still dazed I’m just like why did you not going win um do you know what it was I gave it two big swings I was like I

Hesitated right and in sport you never hesitate but then I turned around and I see coming back to me I said what you do mate give it up for miles and nro everyone all right amazing as we saw earlier Finley was unfortunately injured while running the gauntlet yes and he’s been on the

Treatment table and and the medical team have seen him but I’ve got to say like the true lion he is he wants to be here give it up for Finley Finley and he will be taking on the [Applause] Legend Contender ready two one so despite injuring his knee during Gauntlet Finley’s been cleared by the medical team to continue luckily hang tough is all about the arms got a good rhythm going here Hasley just doesn’t want to get too close to Legend legend locks on but Finley gets

Free now to find an alternative route Legend’s got him again and I don’t think he’ll let go this time it’s Finley who has to so no points for Finley and Legend celebrates with some pull-ups yes we’re all looking at you there was no way Legend’s ego was going to let Finley

Win Finley we are so so happy you’ve been cleared by the medical team able to continue you chuff with that over the moon how’s your leg holding up it’s just about put together yeah but no matter how many times I get knocked down I’ll always get back

Up Legend I want to say being the legend that you are do you think Finley is worth legendary status B you’re right mate I was Majestic up there Majestic listen listen we got after five events it’s miles on 23 points Finley 18 we’ll find out what that means going into the final event

The Eliminator later on first up for the female contenders it’s kry and she is going to be swinging against [Applause] saber Contender Gladiator ready three two what remember if carry can make it over to Sable’s Podium she’ll get 10 points but she’s made a really promising start now they’re both being very

Attentive to one another car making decent progress and she gets into the red scoring Zone if she just stays there it’ll be five points look at saber starting to swing those legs and getting ready to Lock and Load she’ll get carry this time and attaches and now sets about the business

Of wrestling kry from those rings but what strength this is from kry she’s Clinging On with everything she’s got 15 seconds to hold on it seems like a long time saber doing everything she can and finally the Tak down what a terrific effort from kry there a mark of

Respect of true competitors at the end [Applause] sa had to work with everything she had to get Carri down from those Rings thought you played it really well I thought you great yeah thank you very much yes I kind of I thought she was going in a different direction but she

Wasn’t yeah and it was interesting but when you did catch up it took you ages to get her down off the Rings she’s very strong she’s a great Contender it’s really been a pleasure to go against her today and we’re both Scottish and that’s cool give it up kry and
