I’m looking to get my first carbon bike after spending several years with my faithful but hefty/cheap Orbea Avant H60 – would really appreciate advice on where to start, whether to go new or second-hand, and what is essential kit when dropping this sort of money vs. nice to haves?
Brand or model recommendations would be great. Mostly road riding in single trips, some bike packing.
Budget ~£3-4k with wiggle room, and looking for good value for money (who isn’t?!).
