I hadn’t biked since 2019, when I built a polo bike living in Alaska in 2019. Bought the diverge from my brother in May 2023 and put a couple thousand miles on it. I stuffed 38s in it, but they were still slightly too big (and grind to a halt in any kind of damp anything) and rubbed a hole in my chain stay. I ordered the State All Road frameand fork and want to move all the Diverge parts to it. Got the M30 BSA 68mm Praxis BB to fit the cranks, but forgot that the All Road frame is setup for mechanical disc brakes. The Diverge uses Shimano 785 hydraulic disc and won’t fit the fork or rear brake mounts . The guy at State says he doesn’t know of any adapters. Is there anyway for me to keep my current brake setup? I’d rather not have to buy mechanical brakes.
People that are familiar with these bikes, anything else that I may be overlooking?
