I’m building up a Bridgestone T700 with 700c wheels, and am having a hell of a time getting the rear brakes to position properly. I imagine this frame was built for 27″ wheels, but I’ve succeeded converting a Raleigh Kodiak with similar cantilever brakes. I’ve tried an old shimano deore pair, the current one that was on the Kodiak, and a bmx V brake. None will work!
I’m open to purchasing other brakes, but need some advice where to start.
I’m not very experienced working on bikes, any help is appreciated.
