Sorry for the rather mediocre images, but heres the problem. Im trying to replace an OLD headset (YST corp 541) to a modern external cup on this fork.
But to do that, i need to presumably remove the old crown race, if this headset even has something akin to that. It’s my first time working this much with a bike fork, so i have no idea what part i need to or even can remove.
Can anyone give me a pointer which part of this the crown race is, before hammer time begins? 😀

The crown race is the conical piece with a groove in it for an o-ring. [From the bottom of the fork, hit that big fat ledge in your 3rd picture with a hammer and flat screwdriver, alternating blows on each side until it pops off the crown race seat.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G5R8-qitgM)

Best to replace the old race, made for a roller bearing, with the correct one for your new headset.
