The best advice I’ve ever gotten is “the only thing that Matters is how cheap it is, you can always upgrade parts later”

  2. The Mongoose looks like a longer reach from seat to handlebars. Are you able to test them out?

  3. How much are you trying to spend?

Between these two I’d go with the Mongoose all day, but with some mechanical know how and a little luck, you can have a solid used bike that will last you your whole life. It just may not be either of these if I’m being honest

  4. Both brands are imported for large retail stores. There’s a great chance both of the bikes were made in the same factory. Overall the parts look similar, the only difference is the brakes and fork. When set up properly either type of brake are good but the v brakes on the pink bike might have a little more stopping power which only matters if you have big hills. With the suspension fork the pink bike will be heavier by a few pounds. If I were you I’d buy the one that feels more comfortable if you can test them, or the one you like the looks of better if not.
