Started this conversion with an old aggressive frame.
I made it work with the the Magic Ratio (52/16) which is 3,25 ratio (40kmh at 100rpm)
I’m looking to make the vertical dropout into an horizontal one, any idea on how much it will cost made by a specialist? Is it worth it or is it better to buy a new frame with already built in horizontal dropout?

I think it’s better to go with a new frame than hack into this one to change the dropouts. That would cost a few hundred dollars, not to mention fucking up the paint
There are other options:
– Eccentric bottom bracket (this is probably the best option)
– Find another magic gear with the aid of a half link
– singlespeed with chain tensioner
Is the paint original? If not what color is this?
What is this kind of frame? Old time trials?
Converting to track ends might be a bit pricey but if the geometry and frame are exactly what you’re looking for, then it’s worth it IMO. Money put into improving and personalizing an item is (almost) always money well spent.
If the geometry isn’t perfect for you, then don’t do it. No reason to spend money improving a frame that will never be right.
