Hi guys,

So I need some help/advice from you guys. A year ago I bought a Cube Aim Allroad 2023 (see picture) and its fine but after I tested a gravel bike from a friend of mine, I realized that this kind of bike would fit my needs way more.
Now I don’t really want to buy a whole new bike and thought maybe it’s possible to change around some parts to make it more „athletic“?

I thought getting a dropbar with a new stem and some new narrower tires.

That is obviously not a whole conversation but I wanted to get your professional advice if this makes even sense or if I am wasting money here.

Thanks for your help ❤️

  1. The more bikes you have the more fun you have. Keep this one as your nice little commuter and for the weekends and to go racing get a proper gravelbike. Cube makes very nice gravelbikes from carbon and from Alu.

  2. Tiberiusmoon on

You can change the tyres to something skinnier assuming the rim width is compatible.

Bigger chainset and may need a new front derailur.

Overall you can try but it wont be as good.
