First big boy bike after riding Walmart bikes for most of my life. I don’t really know anything about them, but have had some help from friends who are way more knowledgeable than I am. They’ve suggested bikes with lots of bracket points, flat handlebars, and a frame to accommodate 40-45mm tires.
While I’m all for buying used, I am pretty short and struggle to find something that fits. After looking at a few bike shops, I’m considering:
[Kona Dew](https://www.konaworld.com/products/dew-1?variant=41030250102828¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=CjwKCAiAzJOtBhALEiwAtwj8tke5FPdkF0iQnUSkhOOaAmU5HiQFPCw31TtwFfJHo0wbDExmBXgCLxoCQ40QAvD_BwE)
[Trek FX Disc 2](https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bikes/hybrid-bikes/fitness-bikes/fx/fx-2-disc/p/27991/)
[REI CTY 1.1](https://www.rei.com/product/197842/co-op-cycles-cty-11-bike)
[Diamondback Division 2
](https://www.diamondback.com/division-2-4649)
I’m sure I’m missing some other options in this price range and am open to any suggestions as long as I can find them nearby.
Anyone have any experience with these bikes, especially in Seattle’s hills and rain? Thanks for the help!
