The cab driver behind didn’t do anything wrong, btw, but whilst she was happy to turn her dashcam attention onto me, she seemed much less happy when I showed her presence on my cameras.

  1. Excellent catch, Mikey.
From the entire observed part of the journey here, she struck me as an habitual user of her phone when driving.
She'll probably shrug off the fine, but maybe, just maybe, 6 points will break the habit.

  2. Anyone who has riden a bicycle will know just how dangerous it is when faced with an inattentive driver. If you’re sending a message when you’re stopped, then you’re waiting (and reading) for the response and it’s those moments that are so dangerous. I think you’re brave to be doing what you’re doing and just don’t understand the negative responses. They’ve broken the law – not you. Keep it up ❤

  3. The overused word "multitasking" has become the bane of modern society. We should stress the word "concentration" or "focus". Too many people think they can multitask when they are driving. They want to smoke, text, chatter, cut deals, buy stocks, etc when they should be focussed on driving safely. BTW, saw a guy on his cycle talking on the phone. So it's not just motorists.

  4. |when i did my BIKE license, i was learned to drive correctly from the left road by the road/ pavement by about 2ft….

You had to be safe, driving correct way…

However, you seem to be able to drive your BIKE anyway, from one pavement. Then across to a road. Then driving straight over to the RIGHT side of the road clearly to the forward cars coming straight to you.

Perhaps you need to LEARN YOUR BIKE TEST AGAIN!!!

You definitely not SAFE to other DRIVERS and PEADEIALS

As I had a massive stroke, FIVE years ago, i had to do the TEST to be able to make sure I COULD DRIVE as I had lost over 30% of my Left Hempishere due to the STROKE.

I can still drive a car,
But i am now mental illness due to the stroke.

SHOULD I NOW DRIVE a BIKE to look like you now!

    Learn safe for drivers!!!!!!

  5. You'll have to understand Mikey that these crappy cheap cars, even when they are almost brand new don't have bleutooth.

In reality it's more because with bluetooth you can only call and be called, but no "whatsapp" or even "youtube", so these poor people are forced to keep their phone in their hands and risk the loss of 6 points and a small financial fine.

Most judges will surely understand that these people can't wait until they are safely parked legally to use their phone .

  6. Totally amazes me that she can drive like a total eejit yet be so totally unashamed. Like many others, she should be banned for the same length as a drink driver.

  7. What was the issue the cabbie had with you then? Surely they are in favour of stopping illegal driving behaviour as it makes the roads safer for everyone. Maybe they're a superfan?

  8. Another Driver who does not care, and was dismissive of your pointing out She has no legal right to be using her phone whilst driving!
Keep up the good work Mikey, keep it up bud

  9. Good man, Mikey – and anyone else doing this. These people, by their actions, are saying the law doesn't apply to them. In my experience, these are not the only laws they don't care about – and by no means are they all driving laws.

  10. I personally believe this Site ( Mikey ) is a very serious Site. Unfortunately i find the unnecessary Music some sort of cheap dumbing-down, somehow it takes the seriousness out of what is a very important issue ( just asking/saying )
    Anyway, Peace to all.

  11. it really annoys me when i see people on there phone when im driving and get to a junction and look in my rear view i can see certain drivers look down which means they got there phone between there legs
