I’ve read ([https://www.reddit.com/r/fatbike/comments/75av1e/edna\_tire\_on\_a\_pugsley/](https://www.reddit.com/r/fatbike/comments/75av1e/edna_tire_on_a_pugsley/)) and seen ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nV6dQSIMMw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nV6dQSIMMw)) that some 1.5nd-generation Pugsley riders have had success with Ednas on Marge Lite rims. My question is, Exactly how much success? How wide are your Ednas on Marge Lites, and how much clearance do you have between chain and tire in your smallest gear?
Context: I have a 2012 Necromancer Pugs running 2×9 with the 36/22 MWOD crankset. Current tires are old 45NRTH Husker Du, which are a sad 92 mm wide on their best days. With the chain in the smallest gear, 22×32, I have 6 mm, *maybe* 7 mm of clearance between chain and tire. I’d enjoy wider tires, but also enjoy not having my tire and chain sharing intimate moments.
Thanks in advance.
