So in this video I’m going to do my state of the collection video for 2023 it’s a quite an exciting time I always save this video for the end of the year so you can check out how my collection’s grown from 2022 to 2023 my first date of

The collection was last year around the same time you know this looks like to be some kind of a tradition that on the channel I’ll show you the direction my collection’s gone and I’ll show you what’s what’s left and what what you know what I’ve added to the collection

And kind of give you an overview of everything in my collection today I’m actually wearing my SEO king turtle it just happened to be the one I pulled out of my watch drawer and uh yeah I love still love this watch wear it sometimes and uh today was the day I decided to

Wear it iconic watch by the way so I’ll take you upstairs to check out where I keep my watches and give you give you the state of the collection update so let’s go do that now so this is my closet and this is where I keep my

Watches that is my Winder which is completely empty cuz all my watches are now in this drawer right here hot take uh don’t buy a wer you probably don’t need it I don’t even hardly ever use it anymore you know it’s just a glorified watch box now but uh it does look quite

Nice all my watches are kept inside this drawer and uh let me show you what that looks [Laughter] Like so my wife she actually had this uh watch short custom made for me which is incredibly nice of her she just had these inserts made and you know they this is all custom so I think it it holds 40 watches right now it’s up to it’s holding 34 watches let’s go ahead

And get started with the state of collection uh video here today I’m weing my tutor Prince date day I recently got this watch I would consider this watch to be my Grail or the closest thing that I have to a gril in my collection been

Wanting a watch just like this one for a long time and I finally got it and there’s a video about it that I recently posted about it so you want to check it out so before I continue I need to talk about the the watches that have been cut

This year I had a a too luxury which was cut unfortunately uh just wasn’t wearing it it wasn’t my style so and it was one of the watches that I bought in in the beginning of my journey so I decided it was I sold it I also sold the jail Wall

Street like a Kermit uh Rolex Submariner Kermit clone watch I so I sold that and I also sold my Invicta uh my steeling gold Invicta again I you know I had nothing against Invicta actually I I stand by everything I said in the video it’s just not the stealing if I was

Going to get an Invicta it’s not it wouldn’t be stealing gold the only reason I bought it was to review the Jil don’t have the Jil anymore so I don’t have to use for the Invicta and uh I think I’ve done everything I needed to

Do with that watch so it found a new home I think I sold it for like 44 bucks let’s start with the rang Master this is one of my newer watches I just got it it was uh uh the tgv uh Long Island watch collaboration I just covered a video

About this watch I actually do wear it quite often it’s in the back it’s just haven’t hasn’t made it it way to the closer to the front but it’s still very cool watch I kind of I stand by everything I said about it I think it’s

A it’s still a good size um the uh the strap has broken in a bit so it has it is it is quite it is a good strap and uh yeah like this watch love the finishing I like the uh uh the overall design of

The watch is quite nice and I I I really enjoy this watch but yeah I have a full video about it so if you want to check it out you can um this is my um this is my I think this is the Apple Watch

Series uh Series 6 uh it’s my one and only uh Apple watch uh this is my uh I bought this W watch before I started my like watch collection journey and uh the only other watch that I had was a tag hoer you’ll see later and uh you know

It’s uh watch you see these every day I mean I don’t need to talk about it anymore but and I don’t use it hard I think I use it two or three times a year one and only G-Shock I don’t remember the reface number I do remember that

This has can sync up with the radio signal to to set itself it actually just did it uh yeah I did it last night at 12:00 a.m. so uh I wear this watch whenever I do like any kind of like manual labor around the house and this

Is the watch my go-to watch for that and um I feel like it’s the quintessential like gck design so really like that watch and if I was going to get a gck I wanted it to be in Black uh this is my VTO amphibia um I have considered

Selling this watch Pretty recently and I probably will next sometime next year just haven’t had the time to list it don’t wear it I like the history of OC I think they’re they uh a lot of engineering you know might went into it given the the the very low cost of these

Watches they they’re very very uh very good divers and you know if I when I sell this one I’ll probably buy another one but uh not sure which one it is but this one I’m not really wearing so it’s probably on The Chopping Block let me

Start with the left here this is mine my SNK l15 uh this is a part of one of one of my Trio of S7 s26 watches Seiko s 7 s26 watches that are uh that I actually I adore these watches um they obviously they have 7 s26 movements this is the

This is the SNK l15 I put it on aftermarket jubile bracelet and it is uh it is quite a looker for about a total investment of about 10 under 150 bucks uh this is my SNK 393 I believe that’s what it’s called has some Arabic numerals in it it has the same movement

Uh reliable Workhorse movement no hacking no winding kind of seyo old Seiko movement but uh I love this watch I’ll never sell it because it’s so it it was like 90 bucks plus I bought the uh Uncle SEO president bracelet and uh I think it’s quite a looker for about

Again about $150 total for this watch really really great looking watch for the money this is the Seiko snx J 90 this is also known as the the watch that uh Christian Bale wore an American Cycle it wasn’t a Rolex it was this watch and

Uh I when I found out about that I needed to have one and I found one on eBay and I have a whole video about it actually have two videos about this watch on the channel if you want to get more information about it but uh you

Love this watch don’t wear it very much at all but it is sort of like uh something I won’t sell just because it’s so hard to get and you know you know I love that movie too so uh it reminds me of the movie Every time I see it and uh

It’s a really cool watch too I think with some cool uh backstory I think this is the SR this RP 53 I can’t remember the exact reference but I also have another video on this watch and uh this is the current like SEO 5 not you know it’s

Sort of like a hybrid you know dress watch half half diver half dress watch and uh it it is the Pinnacle value this thing I’m going to probably make a video when I talk about it and compare it against my my tutor here which uh I

Already posted a video on I’m going to get to that watch a little later uh it’s on I believe it’s on it’s on the strap code Jubilee which really makes this thing pop it looks like a million bucks and I think a total investment of under

$300 which or about what it msrps for cuz I got it for about 200 great watch this is a loo type B like fleager I guess you could say and uh you know loo had loo has been around since the for a long time I don’t remember the

Exact date but you know the early 20th century and you know this is their bread and butter so this is like a german-made watch with a Japanese Miota movement in in it that so that’s why it’s so uh you can get these for like under $500 at

Times uh I don’t wear it that much but when I do I really like it and it’s something I wouldn’t give my wife gave it to me for my I think 40th birthday or 39th birthday really nice watch so next is my blank Pond Swatch collaboration

Watch this is the scuba 50 Fathoms and uh I recently actually this is one of my newer watches and uh one of the least expensive watches that I bought this year in uh this one along with the uh the rang master and uh I you know I

Fun love the color and um I’m it quite surprised me I really like wearing it it’s so comfortable to wear uh this is my certina DS Podium I bought this sort of looking for a range uh tutor Ranger replacement watch uh on a budget and I I think this this also could satisfy

Anybody that’s looking for an Explorer uh alternative and uh it’s quite a nice watch it has the I think it has a Powermatic 80 movement in it and runs for 80 hours and I don’t wear very often but uh it is quite a nice it’s a nice

Watch I don’t think I’d ever be I don’t think I would be selling this watch anytime soon this is my Marathon Navigator and this is sort of like a special edition J crew model I also have a video on this watch and on the channel

It was a sort of a special release by J crew it has it’s a quartz watch sort of a composite case uh very comfortable Al on a nice NATO you know pair it pairs nicely with the Nal strap that it came with and uh really cool watch has trium

Tridium Loom which is I love tridium loom so if I’m going a little quick it’s just got a got a lot to cover here so this is my Hamilton khaki field uh this is the 40 I think it’s the 42 yeah it’s the 42 I had to double check cuz I I

Didn’t know if it was 41 or 42 but it’s actually 42 which it is a pretty big watch I always recommend people buy the 38 cuz it’s I think it’s more appropriate for the style of watch but uh 42 fits my wrist okay Captain America or Chris Evans wart on in one deleted

Scene uh in in an Avengers movie so it’s the captain Captain America’s watch you could say great you know cool watch uh don’t worry it very often uh but uh really like it when I do this is an old bouleva like diver that my wife got me a

Long this is before the tag Hoyer this is like we were still dating kind of thing we were living together but we were da uh you know we weren’t married and I think I she bought me this watch cuz I lost like my um I had a watch I

Think it was a a citizen and it like broke off and I lost it so she bought me this watch it was really nice of her I think in a Macy’s or something so uh still have it uh means a lot to me I would never get rid

Of this watch I wanted to get an Orient this is the Orient star Heritage Gothic it’s a quite a nice dress dress watch it’s got the power uh Power Reserve indicator there it’s small seconds so it’s sort of an a an you know a more a modern interpretation of one of their

Older you know watches that they put out uh really nice watch this is my orus Aquis I bought this a while back uh this is definitely one of my favorite watches I probably wear it at least once a week it is a stunning watch uh talk about

Value for money I think I got this for under about 1,300 bucks and it’s such a nice watch I I usually take this on trips when I go to the beach or on vacation and it’s it it’s such a ni you can this is the kind of

Watch you can dress up dress down it is a little big it’s the 43 12 mm but uh the lug to Lug is kind of uh is not that bad so it could actually it wears more like a 42 it’s a great watch can recommended enough this is my lene uh

Master’s Collection it’s got uh man what doesn’t it do it’s got a it’s a chronograph it’s a it has Moon phas complication triple calendar complication and a 24-hour clock and a pointer date all in one watch and um it is uh don’t wear it very often uh but

When I do if I ever want to like get my complication on this is the watch that I wear it’s great watch and yeah no plans on selling this one this is my tag hoy aquaracer this is the watch my wife got me when we got married and I think I

Mentioned that a couple of times on the channel and um I think it’s a I think it’s a 44 mm it’s a quite it’s quite a big watch again very conservative lug to Lug so I think it fits like a 42 and2 I would say it it it fits smaller than you

Would think and uh I wore this watch every day for over a decade and it’s fantastic I love this watch um would never ever consider selling this watch this is like forever in my collection I would sell every other watch before that one this is my ball train Master it’s uh

One of my favorite watches in my collection it has the my uh Marathon over there that I just talked about has tridium twos but the these glow so much brighter um if I’m ever going on the a movie theater or somewhere dark this is the perfect watch it’s just always

Glowing you always know what time it is and I just think I love the look of the dial it’s just so interesting and I love the uh the tridium tubes how they the Arabic numerals it almost looks Art Deco in my and I just love this I just love

This watch it’s so like quirky and it’s got just just enough red to like make the make it pop and it’s a GMT it’s a collar GMT not a uh not a true GMT but uh still I just keep it at local time the GMT hand and helps me set the watch

I’m going to start from left to right this is the my SEO Arne um this is this is probably one of the coolest wases in my collection I absolutely love it I wear this is probably on a weekly basis it just makes me feel like a tough guy I

Just like feel like I can like take on the Predator myself and uh I love this watch it is it’s uh it’s a it’s kind of on the big side but SEO they are masters of making big watches where small if you want an iconic watch for under four

About 400 bucks you really can’t beat the SEO Ary and it’s got the Annie digital uh kind of uh thing going on so love this watch this is the my SEO king turtle I mentioned this all the time I also take this on trips a lot it is sort

Of like my beater diver uh if I want a diver that’s just not terribly expensive but I want to I don’t and uh but really has really good performance I know this watch won’t fail me I think it’s a fantastic uh watch it’s such an iconic

Design and uh I love the color the the grenade look of the dial which is really cool this is my SEO speed timer uh I believe it’s the crystal trophy Edition sort of like quasi quote unquote limited edition uh limited to 10,000 pieces which is not really that limited but you

Know it is what it is this watch K was Notorious for coming with a really you know in my opinion not a very attractive uh bracelet so I swapped it for a strap code one and now this thing looks like a million bucks Absolut I love this watch

I wear this maybe every other week at least once this is the SZ sb011 this is a Japanese only market watch or JDM watch and uh it sort of has that you know like Grand Seiko look vibe in fact I I I took it to like a grand Seiko ad

And I I compared their closest like Grand SEO uh like they have a grand SEO that looks just like it it’s like in quartz and I have I got a video of both of them um don’t worry this watch very often but I really really love the look

Of this watch and I and uh no plans on selling this one I I you can’t even get these around here you have to order them from J Japan um this is the my Seiko Seiko 5 GMT I recently put had a loom loom challenge which I did for my own

Curiosity very not unpopular video on my channel but whatever this watch has the best loom in my collection and it was like 400 I think I paid under $400 for this thing and uh I think I got it on sale or something from Macy’s and uh

This is a great watch I actually do wear this one maybe every week or every other week at least once and it is quite a looker um not a true diver but uh has has I love the Jubilee bracelet and I love the GMT function just like it’s a

CER GMT just like my ball but uh again keep it at local time and U it is uh it is a really cool watch with fantastic Loom and what a value this thing wow so moving down to my more expensive watches that start with the this is my Omega C

Master green dial CMAs 300 Pro or you could say and uh this is this is one of my favorite watches in my collection if I I think I said in another video if I was going to keep this would be if I had to keep only three watches other than my

Tag which is you know so if I had to keep four watches I would this would be one of them so I absolutely love this watch it just has uh I just I just love the color I love how it can kind of like

Become it can be a black watch it can be a very sort of like a candy apple green and sometimes it’s sort of like a dark green and it’s a it’s a really great watch um some people complain that the this the bracelet doesn’t taper doesn’t bother me this is like the the

Quintessential like uh sea Master bracelet and I feel like you take away the bracelet you sort of take away a little bit of the watch’s personality and its quirkiness also has the wart there and uh this is the watch that cost the most in my whole entire collection

The one I paid the most for paid retail for this thing and was a pain in the ass to get but I I really like it this is my grand SEO or sbga uh 203 this is a Spring Drive Matt black dial uh you get all the awesomeness of a all the

Finishing of a grand Seiko I wanted a grand Seiko for the movement for the finishing of the case and the you know the overall quality of the watch and it all and uh I I absolutely love this watch I guess my you know people say that again this doesn’t the the bracelet

Could should taper a little more it should have screw down pins it should have some kind of micro adjustment you know I think those are valid points and I think maybe one day hopefully gr GR listens to its clientele and but you know Grand SEO is going to do what Grand

SEO is going to do I love this watch one of my favorite watches this along with my uh CMAs would be one of the watches that I keep out of out of four uh so this was a recent acquisition that I actually one of more my more recent

Watches that I got sort of along when I got the blank blank pan uh 50 Fathoms uh Swatch watch uh this one I got pre-owned uh love this watch uh honestly I think I this is the watch that’s gotten the most attention when I wear it it’s just it

Just pops you know it’s got the you know it is the pep you know it is the Pepsi so um I haven’t made a full video about this watch but uh there’s plenty of videos about that and you know hopefully sometime next year I’ll get to it and uh

I actually wore this on a recent trip and it was quite a great watch again true GMT it’s a traveler GMT I I felt that my collection was a little heavy on tutor uh well you could say it’s heavy on tutor period but it’s heavy on tutor

Like dress watches but I wanted to I just wanted something more sporty and iconic looking and this is why I what I landed on it I got such a great deal on it too this is by black Bay 58 925 as you can see it still looks quite

Nice and shiny I do wear this watch maybe once a week I like to wear it to work cuz it’s sort of like a dressy diver it’s got the uh the weight of a precious metal watch is tutor made a silver bracelet for this thing man I’d

Be the first one to buy it but I don’t think they ever will but it’d be so cool if they did man this thing would be amazing it it is amazing but it would be like to the next level amazing but yeah I would never sell this watch I love it so this

Is my Carl F Booker this is a more another purchase I made maybe earlier maybe this first half of the year uh this is a full gold watch triple calendar pointer date lunar uh uh moon phase watch and uh this is the watch when I

You know if I need to put on a suit or dress up a little more uh this is the perfect watch it is such a stunning watch the plot thickened this hadn’t happened yet but you know Rolex actually acquired boerer which I believe includes carlif buerer so uh I don’t know what’s

Going to happen with that with the brand but we’ll I guess we’ll see stay tuned for that getting to the last watches in my collection this is my black Bay 39 um this is sort of like their uh this is one of my newer watches I could say I I

Think I just posted the review on this and talk about again still a very expensive watch at like 4 Grand or so but it’s way less than a uh than a DAT a compfortable jjust still less than a uh Oyster Perpetual and you can probably buy this thing and from what I’ve seen

On the secondary secondary Market these things are going down cuz apparently I’ve actually talk to an ad and they’re not the most popular watches you know the uh the tutor divers always or everybody flocks to those things and you know these some these are somewhat underappreciated which means you can

Probably get a really good deal if you were looking for a Do-it all kind of like arguably absolutely could be a one watch kind of collection kind of thing you don’t need anything more than this you can take this thing swimming you can do everything with this

Watch and you take it you wear it to work and look like a million bucks and uh talk about finishing love this watch and you’re going to think I’m crazy but I actually bought this one pretty uh after I bought the uh black Bay 39 this is an

Older uh reference black pay 36 steeling gold uh I I saw a deal and I couldn’t pass it up it was sort of an Impulse buy but man I really like it I I uh actually bought an extra link for this thing so it could fit me better even though it

Did fit but it fits me great pretty good now and uh so you can see I got so the black Bay 3 39 and 36 got both watches for less than the price of a date just which is kind of cool but yeah this is a you know you get the

Jubilee bracelet you get the I like this one a little more than the new version of the uh black Bays because the the gold is brushed I just I think it just looks a little more interesting and same goes for the uh for the bracelet here there

Is a little bit of polishing under here which I I just noticed pretty recently there’s like a little line of polished gold right right here right on the uh bottom of the bezel and uh overall this is a great little watch and got it for a

Steel this is my tutor style uh this watch is still actually still for sale I can’t seem to sell this thing uh I selling it because I I got this watch and you know sort of don’t need two of these things or very they’re just too similar and I just anyway if you’re

Still interested I’ll put the link in the description and I think I’m selling it for a very reasonable price but anyway this is uh you know if you want to watch with the fluted bezel for cheap and uh with tutor’s quality and easy easy to service movement still under

Warranty I think it’s a great watch and uh you know you know unfortunately I just you know I have no room for it in my collection I I just you know it’s just it’s a little crazy at this point with the tutors so I can’t uh can’t keep it this is my tutor

1926 uh this is a I bought my wife the same reference but in 28 mm for our believe 10th wedding anniversary and uh so she has the smaller version of of this watch but with little diamonds on the markers so it’s kind of cool U this

Is the king of value this is tutor’s like most value oriented watch I think it they retail for about 2,000 but you can you can easily find these for under 1500 and uh I think I paid about that I paid maybe 15 or 1,600 for mine on and

Uh fantastic watch wish I would have got a 39 but it still works on my wrist so this is the 41 and the tutor glamour I wanted a steel and gold watch when I bought this and I was just looking for what can I find what is one of the

Cheaper steeling gold watches with that aren’t PVD coded you know this is like legit you know legit gold and this is uh this is the watch I landed on and it’s just so quirky I love the uh you know you have the Dual bezel like half like

Stainless steel half gold you have the one line of gold through the bracelet here three three types of finishing on the bracelet it’s just it’s just so and plus you got the day date Daye to-day complication on it it’s a pretty interesting watch um and uh you know

It’s sort of like it sort of hearkens back a little bit to tutor’s past and it sort of has you know again just like my tutor Prince has the date day but uh you know it’s doing its own thing and uh I you know I can I I have to respect it

For that I was thinking but maybe I would sell it after I got because this is the uh cuz you know I got the after I got the black Bay 36 here I was thinking maybe I’d sell the glamour but you know they’re just I don’t know they’re just

So different and they’re doing their own thing and I I actually do like the glamour still so I have no plans on selling it for now and last but not least I I know I just posted a video on this watch but it’s so good um this is

My uh tutor Prince oyster Prince date day not Day date and uh this has the 18 karat gold like fluted bezel this has the it has a uh ETA movement or you know Cel or ETA movement this is the kind of watch that I think is like perfect

Perfect if I was going to buy a date just I’d probably buy very similar to this I might consider getting a 41 if I was going to buy a datejust this is as big as these watches come so this is the 36 and uh this is a stunning watch again

Closest thing to a Grail you got the Cyclops this watch is made in 2016 so it almost feels like I bought a New Old Stock like date just from the late ‘ 80s early ’90s such a cool watch again closest thing to a Grail I paid a pretty

Penny for this watch but again you can’t these are incredibly hard to find especially in this reference but uh if you don’t necessarily care you you can find these things uh on like Chrono for about maybe two grand I’m going to say 22 below 2000s so if you’re interested

In one of those but you’re not you know it won’t be this exact reference it might have Arabic numerals it might be in a black you know a different color but uh yeah I’m super I love this watch this is one this arguably my favorite watch in my collection so yeah that is

Zen is definitely a brand I want to check out I’ve been looking at a squ at getting a squal for a couple of years I just like their watches and I just haven’t uh haven’t pulled a trigger on one yet but uh maybe 2024 may be the

Dome bezel date just or even I always s Perpetual I’d be happy with any of those watches but uh you know I haven’t heard anything and uh I sort of expressed my my desire to get pretty much any of those watches and maybe you know I hate

Have been factored into their MSRP price with a bit of a margin for them to make money some profit pay a premium for something that’s already that already has profit on you know laid into the price it just doesn’t make any sense to me and I just will not I will refuse to

Do it and it’s just I studied economics and finance and I know I sort of have a pretty good idea how this kind of thing works but uh I just do not I I I refuse to do it I’d rather not have one if I had to pay over
