Thinking about buying this from someone who is moving out of town and no longer needs it. Would this still be a reliable bike to purchase even though it is almost 7 years old? Anything I should look out for when I go to check it out later today?

Yep, those are legit decent bikes.
You may want to replace the battery if it’s showing signs of age but otherwise make sure it turns on and the assistance works.
