Hi all,
I‘m looking to get my first serious road bike. I noticed that the largest sized bike of competitors (Giant TCR, Rose Xlite) roughly matches Canyons size XL.
On the one hand, my legs would be at the very lower end of the 2XL distribution. I read that this might make the bike less comfortable as the seat post will be less extended. On the other hand, I’ve got really long arms and it might be eyeopening to finally get a bike that’s actually my size. I‘m only riding for fun, often solo or with slow friends, and doing occasional triathlons (don’t care much about my time though).
Do you have any recommendations or suggestions?

You are well and clearly into 2XL territory. Don’t overthink it.
