
Hey y’all, curious to know how you best make it up very steep fire roads. I can bang out steep tarmac no problem, but a few extra degrees + less traction is killing me.
I’m on an Aspero with 40mm kenda alluvium pro’s (seem to be closer to 42mm). I wear grippy xc mtb shoes and use flat pedals, but eventually plan to transition to clipless (eyeing rx6/8).
I understand that fitness is part of it, but is there anything else I can do in terms of gear and form to better smash my way up these hills?
