Measure how much seatpost you have above the seat tube and subtract that from the overall length of the new seatpost. This way you’ll know how much insert length do you need. Now measure your seat tube straight part length to see if it will fit. You can use a measuring tape for it, but you have to use a flashlight and look if there are no obstructions or bends that will limit the effective length.
