Two Men on Quad Cut Down Speed Camera in West Yorkshire As Cops Drive Past

Dramatic scenes unfolded in West Yorkshire yesterday evening as two men on a quad bike, one wearing a ‘police jacket’, used a Stihl saw to cut down at least one speed camera that had recently been installed.

The incident was filmed on Leeds Road in the Shaw Cross area of #Dewsbury.

The footage shows the two men laughing as they cut down the speed camera post with sparks flying, even after spotting a police van nearby.

The officers in the van made an attempt to confront the duo, but they managed to escape on their quad bike.

Large police scenes were in place throughout yesterday evening as the road was partially closed due to the incident. Witnesses reported that the men also attempted to damage other speed cameras along the same road. fb.watch/nTymXLyoBc/
