I have a 30t Sram X2 sync chainring on my hardtail right now and i want to get a 34t. Will this work? What’s the difference between 3mm and 6mm?
first photo is the one I want and 2nd is the one I have.
3mm offset is for boost rear axle spacing while 6mm offset is for non boost spacing.
Only going up 4 teeth you most likely will have enough chain length to accommodate. If your chain is too short though you’ll need a new one when installing the new chainring.
