Hey there! I’m kind of new to cycling. I’ve been commuting to work with the city Lyft electric bikes in San Francisco for the last couple of months. I actually really enjoy it and I’m looking to get a bike of my own. I’m on a tight budget and I wouldn’t like to spend more than $300.
I’ve narrowed my options to a $220 Fuji absolute 1.9 bike I found of Fb Marketplace and a $299 Retrospec Barron Comfort Hybrid bike (https://retrospec.com/products/barron-comfort-hybrid-bike-21-speed).
I think the Fuji is a better bike, but I would be the 3er owner. The seller said that is in decent condition, he just used it to move around campus and the previous owner was his sister. On the other hand the Retrospec would be brand new, but I’m assuming worse quality? I’m just basing this on the prices I see online for the brand new Fuji, I actually don’t really know much about what makes it better.
What do you guys think? Which one should I get?
