I’ve been wanting a bike for a while and I went from road bike, to gravel bike and now I’m thinking I’ll just need a mountain bike. Most of my riding will be on streets and pretty crappy bike trail, but I know myself and I’m going to want to goof around/do jumps/wheelies etc and I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up wanting to take it on trails (we have a lot of down hill trails near me) and do everything that entails. So basically i’m looking for an entry level all around bike that will be able to put up with me putting it through things.
I’m a student and don’t take home a ton after bills and groceries, so REIs master card option is looking good for me, I found these two, I’m leaning towards the cannondale because I know the name and I like the look of the frame more, but If I hear a great case for the REI bike I’d be stoked on that too. Also open to suggestions outside of these two.
