After visiting and filming cities like Vienna, Amsterdam, Florence, Rothenburg, Quedlinburg, Porto, Ghent and many many more… we thought: why not try and do the same to the Hometown: Hengelo.
And so we did.
Hengelo is a small city in The Netherlands, near Germany. It used to have industry in the old days, of which you can still see the remnants of now.
The black structure is a “Salt House” used to get salt from the ground.
The city hall is modelled after Florence, after WW2. Hengelo was heavily bombed because of its industry.
