Very fun so witness so many space wolves.
I think the match would have been very different if he had remembered the 1d6 move once shot at. In turn two he could have piled into enemies preventing further shooting.
As for the list I wonder if spending more points on long ranged units (ballistus Dreadnought or gladiator lancer) would benefit the list more then all 6 thunder wolf characters. This 6 characters cost 575 points alone.
Lastly, and probably worse, a stormraven gunship coat the same as the landraider. It can do ride hard ride fast since it flies. It can also hold 12 models, but also a dreadnought (murderfang.) Just keepmout of line of sight and then move 20 if you use it to hover. While T10 and 3+ save it does has damage -1.

How is possible the guy with space wolfs never ever shot the missiles from the centurions. He pays 175 points for 3 grav cannons….
Even though Space Wolves have the "Hunter's Instict" enhancement, I'm pretty sure you are still unable to use Rapid Ingress on turn 1. Yes, the reinforcements can arrive on turn 1 but NOT during your opponents turn. I think this due to the specific wording on the strategem itself.
It was definitely the Space Wolves game to lose, they didn't played the mission. Votann forgot some rules that allowed them to stay in the game. i.e. the Hekaton beam gun should not have gotten the conversion bonus since everything was inside 12"
I think you just have to accept that girls dont particularly enjoy hanging out in a humid building playing a war game for 3-4 hours. The % of girls playing warhammer is prob right in line with the % of girls who enjoy wargaming. IMO the best way to get more female representation in wargaming is for gaming stores to increase the ventilation of their establishments and create a more enticing environment for patrons. Also the Cost barrier to entry is way to high for this hobby. I also golf which is an expensive hobby and warhammer is 4 to 5 times more expensive and 10x more time consuming.
