Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Bluesky Threads I recently started riding the local bowl and noticed my pegs wearing near the ends. Is this common on quarters/bowls or should i work on my technique? by MrPapaya65 Bicycle Bicycle Motocross Bicycling Bike Biking BMX Cycling
Helitac on January 8, 2024 10:42 pm I’d say technique. You’re pushing the bike too hard into the ledge. Lean your bike in and lean your body away. It’s just practice. Also, rotate your pegs once in a while. If you chew through plastic sleeves practicing, it may be worth getting metal pegs as a temporary thing as you get used to it. Just all opinion.
raymondmarble2 on January 8, 2024 10:56 pm Some of that happening is natural, but to the degree that your rear peg has it, that feels like technique to me.
Unlikely_Restaurant1 on January 8, 2024 11:11 pm You said this is from bowls/quarters right? How high are they? If they are low and/or mellow this wouldn’t be much of a surprise.
