Dear Community,
I just bought a new road bike (Rose Xlite).
It has a thru axle which is screwed in from the non-drivertrain side, but does not fully piercethrough the carbon on the drivetrain side (see images).
Any possibility to set this bike up with one of the common Garmin/Wahoo (smart) bike trainers, or am I stuck with an oldschool analog roll trainer?

It will work with a wheel-off trainer (most of the new ones). I don’t think it will work with an older style wheel on trainer.
I have a zwift hub one and I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work with that trainer, or any similar wheel off trainer that uses the bike’s own thru axle.
No no no, you’ve got it wrong.
You bought your road bike, but now you need to buy a trainer bike. /s
I hate seeing practicality thrown out of the window in the name of style.
As someone already said it. You can only put it on wheel off trainer. Or roller trainer like Tacx Antares or Galaxia
Works for any direct drive trainer and rollers. Most fluid trainers will not work.
Should work just fine. But you’ll have to keep your right foot on the ground the whole time.
