Anyone have expertise in getting a contemporary wheel (10/11 speed Campagnolo https://branfordbike.com/new-page-1 ) onto an early 90’s steel road frame with a Campagnolo 8 speed?
The solution I am looking at is a new 9 speed cassette, minus the biggest cog with a series of spaces to get as close to the original 5mm spacing https://www.sheldonbrown.com/cribsheet-spacing.html . 1.75mm cogs, 3.25mm spacers. There is online chatter about Wheels Manufacturing Shift Spacers (CAMP SH-8). Anyone have a source for these? They seem relatively straightforward… is there an AliExpress or similar supplier?
Is there a more straightforward way to do this? Thanks!
