So I am stumped, the rear derailleur is lined up with the gear why the hell is it jumping? I bough the shimano 11 speed chain which is what this group set is. I can’t figure it out and I feel real dumb. Help?

It looks like your master link is not fully engaged. Verify that it’s partly engaged on both sides of the link and then position the master link on the *top* half of chain loop, between the crank and cassette, and give the pedal a sharp whack with your hand/fist in the direction of normal pedaling. You don’t have to hit it hard enough to hurt yourself, but it has to be a sudden, sharp shock load into the chain. You can also try holding the rear brake and just pulling on the crank arm/pedal, that often does the trick. There are other ways to fully engaged the master link, but these is the easiest I’ve found.
It kinda looks/sounds like you may have a stiff chain link. if you just installed the chain using a pin, that link may need to be loosened up. This can be done by grabbing the chain on either side of this link and flexing it with mild force, the flex should be perpendicular to the natural rotation of each chain link. It could also be the high limit screw is screwed a bit to far in and the chain is wanting to catch on the second cog. Fixing this would likely require a limit screw adjustment and cable tension adjustment to compensate.
