You now we were praying this morning and um one of the words that came out was the word called expectancy all right now there was a certain person a few thousand years ago who was fairly expectant with a baby in a sense this time you know if
Jesus was born on the 25th this is the 24th there’s a certain person called Mary who’s heard of Mary Mary yeah we heard of Mary yet Mary yay Mary was slightly expectant slightly expectant with the birth potential birth of a baby and that’s who we’re celebrating we’re celebrating the birth of that
Baby and yet he was more than just a baby cu you know many of you have had children got children will have children and there’s something about the the the expectation of what that child will be like yeah what’s it going to what’s the life of
This child going to be what are they going to what’s their attitude how are they going to be are they going to be like me or like you know the dad or the mom what are they going to grow up to be what career will they have how
Successful or otherwise will they be and you have all these aspirations you have all these plans all these ideas of this baby and I’m sure Mary had some ideas of her own but you know God had his own ideas because it was God that came down in the form of a
Baby and called Jesus and so when we worship this morning we’re not just worshiping the birth of a b baby we’re worshiping all that that baby brought and meant okay and in Philippians it says this this is about Jesus this baby that we’re going to celebrate tomorrow so
Though he was God he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to instead he gave up his Divine privileges he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being that’s what happens tomorrow that’s what we’re celebrating in a sense
Tomorrow but what happened with his life what he goes on to say he humbled himself in obedience to God died a criminal’s death on a cross therefore God elevated him to the highest place of honor gave him the name above all other names that at the name
Of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on Earth and under the Earth and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father that’s why we’re here that’s why we’re here this morning not just to celebrate the birth of a child but all that that child

Details of about four or five places open Home people have opened their home up um and what they’re doing whether it’s you know bringing nibbles or playing games or going for a walk or all three at the same time which is brilliant if you can do that um then the
Idea is just to get together and even if you haven’t put it down on there and you want to open your home put it on the WhatsApp group page we can we can get it out to people as quickly as possible but you know an opportunity just to engage

Heaven praising God and saying glory to God in highest heaven and peace on Earth to those with whom God is pleased when the Angels had returned to heaven the Shepherds said to each other let’s go to Bethlehem let’s see this thing that has happened which the Lord has told us about
They hurried to the village and found Mary and Joseph and there was the baby lying in the manger after seeing him the Shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child all who heard the shepherd’s story were astonished but Mary kept all these
Things in her heart and thought about them often the Shepherds went back to their flocks glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen it was just as the angel had told themall hallelujah hallelujah that’s the word of God and the word of God is
True you know there’s something I love on the story of Christmas is the fact that no child was taken to see that only adults if you see was the Shepherds was the Kings uh but no child was taken over there to see and I think because children don’t need to see to
Believe but only adults as we grow we keep losing our faith and we keep the problem is not that we are not available to we are not don’t have access to hear God’s voices but the problem is all the other voices that we make ourselves
Available to hear and I want to tell the story a little bit more about Jesus Christ uh and understanding that I want to call someone who is a professional on telling the story of Jesus okay this person has PhD on on Nativity this person was U married on

Table so he went to the stable right and Thiago is also helping so he he’ll be playing baby Jesus uh so Elena we were playing yesterday Mary and Joseph at home uh and suddenly uh Joseph was over there looking for a place for them to stay and
What did Mary told him no time there’s no time Jesus is coming Jesus is coming to be alive over here then they go to the this Ty and Mary lay down on a sh a place of sh and then Jesus was born isn’t it oh I think
Now Elena look at them do you think they’re going to forget it no I think they’re going to remember forever right thank you so much for helping me okay Hallelujah do you know what is the best present I can give my family my children this Christmas is to bring
Jesus to the center of it uh as I was saying the problem is not the fact that there are so many we don’t hear God’s voice the problem is how available we make it for all the other voices to be heard in our houses as we grow we hear so many things
And the story is really simple the story tells about a son a baby was born and I I find it amazing because it is so simple and I want to talk about love today we’re talking about we’re talking about hope uh joy and today I’m talking
About love and this this story is so simple and I want to I want to do the the fourth reading because I want to read Matthew Chapter 2 yes not going to go with Mommy please thank you uh so Matthew Chapter 2 uh Jesus he was born in Bethlehem in
Judea during the reign of King Herod about that time some wise men from Eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem asking where is the newborn king of the Jews we saw his Star as he rose and we have come to worship Him King King Herod has was deeply Disturbed when he heard
This as every any as everyone in Jerusalem he called so everyone heard not only the king but everyone else in Jerusalem heard that They Came To Worship the king that was born he called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of of the religious law and
Asked where is this Messiah supposed to be born in Bethlehem in Judea they said for this is what the prophet wrote then Herod called for private meeting with the wise men and and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared then he told them go to
Bethleem and search carefully for the child and when you find him come back to tell me show that I can go and worship him too after this interview the wise men went their way and the star they had seen in the East guided them to Bethlehem he went ahead of them and
Stopped over the place where the child was when they saw the star they were filled with great joy they entered the house and saw the child with his mother Mary and they bowed down and worshiped him then they obey they opened their treasures and gave him Gifts of gold
Frankincense and more I love this part of the story because uh do you know what were the wise men what were this what was their job they were they were pretty much astronomers they were like people who would so tell me what they used to see every single day as they were working
Stars so suddenly these people I love this because what is saying over here so these guys who see stars every single day suddenly supernaturally they see what the same thing they see every day suddenly this man that they used to see every single day in their life they used to go wash
The skies study the the Stars suddenly they saw this revelation supernaturally of a star completely ordinary on their daily life there was nothing Supernatural on that they saw what they used to see every single day completely simple as I was saying we are forgetting the meaning of Christmas because we keep
Forgetting how simple it is how simple it is we are expecting I I was I made myself a promise this Christmas I was not going to rush I was not going to rush I said I’m going to rush until the 22nd Friday on Saturday there’s no rush
Anymore and I managed to do that because I don’t want to enter this place I don’t want to see my children say like oh how are you oh finally Christmas I’m so tired no I want to be able to stop because it is something so simple and
That’s why we are losing the heart of it because we don’t see the Beauty and the power on what is simple we are losing the heart because love is not enough anymore we are all expecting something incredible to happen something and actually those wise men they only saw something that they used
To see every single day but but suddenly their daily life their daily routine was filled with a different purpose had a different meaning seeing stars for them after that day didn’t mean the same they didn’t stop see stars but they kept now seen stars in a different perspective now they saw a
Star and that stars started to talk to them LED them to something and when they came to the place where they saw Jesus what did they see something completely simple my friend I doubt if any of us would be there we would believe that that baby was a
Savior I don’t know if we have opportunity to change the first nappy of her life I changed my my daughter’s first nappy naturally you can’t believe that that little thing can save anyone when you start giving food to your children have you been there the first nappy after you start giving food it’s
Chaotic how can that little thing be the Savior it’s too simple but that’s the thing we are forgetting our heart we’re losing our heart because it’s too simple and what is too simple B John 3:16 because God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life can you imagine something so simple being the Savior can you imagine something so simple as a sentence saying Jesus loves you being able to save someone because it’s simple we’re still there looking for a miraculous thing but actually what Jesus
Is saying is as simple as it is you’re going to go back to your home and you’re going to find out all the same things of your daily life daily routine you’re going to find your husband not putting the tower back on the right place you’re
Going to find uh your wife stressed by so many things mainly because of you you’re going to find all the ordinary things you’re going to find simple things you’re you’re going to find the bunk balance of your on your on your bunk not so well you’re going to find things daily
Life but because it’s simple it’s on these ordinary things that things will happen because it’s this this is as simple as it is God loved the world so much that he gave his only son it’s given there was no doubt Jesus had no doubt about it sometimes we think why
Was Jesus born my friend why was Jesus born do you think he had any doubts about you do you think you were a plan B for him do you think he came and he died on the cross to give you an opportunity for a possible choice of Salvation do you think your
Family met in Jesus Christ possibility do you think he died for a possibility you think he was born for a possibility your family your life was not a possibility for Jesus Jesus prayed in in John he said everyone that you gave me I’m giving back to you he
Knew he was born because he had no doubts about you and about me because in love there’s no doubt he loved us because the God so loved the RO he gave his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life because God did not send his son to
Condemn the world but to save the world through him and then Romans says but now what can separate us from the love of Jesus Christ who can separate us from the love of Jesus Christ and I want to call my friend M over here because it’s simple as it is and I

For my children to know that simply as it is they were loved I remember one day I’m I’m about to finish but I want you to leave this place and live this Christmas with a different perspective of the love of Jesus Christ because so Simple I remember we were in a youth camp in Brazil and the mother of one of the one of the youth that we were had there his father passed away during the camp and his mother went to pick him up uh and she got lost and her car got stuck in the
Mud and they managed to call us so and went myself and another two leaders to find her where she was lost uh and remove the the car and uh it was a huge mud and I remember as a good pilot I managed to drive back the car and take the car from
The mud and I remember my shoes they were completely dirty completely dirty and we came back we prayed with them they went back to to the city and I went to wash my shoe and my shoe just couldn’t get cleaned was really stuck over there and I was
Cleaning I was trying to clean I was trying to clean and then I I just felt I need to leave my shoe over here and leave on the water and the water will clean it and then I remember that moment God told to me you are like this shoe you can’t clean clean
Yourself we get exhausted by trying to clean ourselves TR try to do something but then it’s just impossible I remember when we got married Paul and myself PA she told me uh you can choose our wedding rings and I said okay and then she realized what she said that’s so you’re
Going to choose yes I’m going to choose so I’m not going to do no you’re not going to know so I went and I chose the the the the ring and everything and then one day I went to this guy who does the Rings and I told
Him what do I do if I need to clean it how do I wash it how do I clean it I said don’t try to clean it you don’t know how to clean your wedding ring I have this machine over here that I put the ring on this place of water and it
Shakes and then it cleans the ring itself but you if you try to clean it you’re going to mess it you’re going to ruin it and our life with Jesus is is a Simple it’s just as simple as it is who can believe that a baby that was born was also a king who can believe who can believe and I want to finish by singing a song Together I’m not a singer so I hope you sing together with me to cover the voice but he says like this a song he’s jealous of me and He Loves Me Like a Hurricane and when I feel his love I don’t have time anymore to worry about
