Hi all! After trying to look for solutions, I don’t think I find anything specific enough therefore here I turn. So I got my Sand Dune 2023 Brompton with rear mudguard as shown. Since brompton rear rack is kinda expensive, also currently the black complete set is not as common, I bought one from [amazon](https://amzn.eu/d/fkuDHSz) which also already include a pair of bigger ezwheels. What I don’t realise is that, seems to me, default Brompton post-Oct 2023 rear mudguard is not compatible with rack.
My questions are:
1. Is my understanding correct that my brompton current mudguard is not compatible with rack?
2. After browsing, I understand brompton offer this R version [rear mudguard](https://www.brompton.com/p/623/rear-fenders-blade-in-black-r-version) that is compatible with rack. Would it be possible to keep my already-purchased rack and then bought R-ver rear mudguard so that I can use the rack?
3. If the answer to 2. is possible, is there anything I need to purchase in addition to the mudguard blade to install both of them?
I’m trying my best not to return the rack; however, if my second question turns out to be not possible, at least I’ll make a well-informed decision.
Thanks!

If it’s a 2023 Brompton c line like mine, the rear triangle section is now a steel version of the P line and requires the Advanced roller rack. So it’s likely the rack you bought is for the older set up and its rack.
That was what I was informed when I bought mine in December, they were going to fit the normal rack when a different tech mentioned the change and how it needed the advanced version. At purchase it was a reduced price (£85) and they had black in stock, they said that’s the most common for the advanced version
You keep your Brommie in the bath or is that how you clean it?
